Its a fantastic place to visit.
But has a lot of stairs at the beginning of the tour which may affect people with reduced mobility.

Great experience, lbe prepared ots of walking and plenty of steps.
Guides very organized and humorous
Great service out to the Salt Mine. Tickets provided and we entered pretty well on our booked slot. Our driver was friendly and efficient and was able to give us good advice about taking one our group to hospital as she’d fallen on stairs towards the end of the tour and badly hurt her shoulder/arm.
The Salt mine staff started off helpful but backed off being helpful and blamed our friend - even suggesting she’d had a sore shoulder before the tour started.
Our driver Cornel advised us well so we went to hospital with the correct paperwork etc. Our friend had broken her upper arm in the fall so take care on the stairs in the mine.

The stairs down to the magnificent cathedral are not for the faint hearted.

Unique underground experience in a relatively large group without headsets, so it was not always easy to hear the guide, Kate. The chapels and salt water lagoons were beautiful.
Lots of steps!! But worth it! It was a very busy day when we visited so we were in quite a big group of people. It was a little bit difficult to hear the tour guide at times. But otheewise great trip and our driver Micbael was great. Really knowledgeable and helpful. Great trip.
Amazing 😍 there are near 900 steps down but an elevator ride up. Years and years of hard labour and toil. A very worthwhile experience. Our transfer was from our accommodation and back. Our driver was Matthew, who was a gentleman and courteous and prompt! Our only negative was that unfortunately our tour guide spoke low,
and he had a very strong accent so none of our group heard the commentary - pity no earpiece/headset 😞
The mines are interesting; however, if you don’t receive a guide thats loud and knows the sweet spots of when to talk to a large crowd in confine spaces with other large crowds around, you’re going to miss out on information that will make this experience interesting. Our guide was a good guy with a lot of information but did not share it well. Nevertheless, this is a neat experience and if you can, you should go.
Great tour and pick up/drop off from driver.
There is quite a few people in your group when doing the tour (about 30) and there is no audio headphones. You really need to listen carefully to the guide and not be disruptive by talking over them or talking when they are so that others can actually hear. Lots of walking and a long walk back to the lift to get up to the top again. But overall, amazing experience and definitely recommend when visiting Krakow.
Really interesting tour which was helped by a very knowledgable guide. We were picked up at our hotel and driven to the door of the Salt Mines. The driver was excellent. Afterwards we were dropped off back at our hotel but the driver would have dropped us off anywhere within the city, which I thought was really good.

Great trip. Lovely reliable driver picked us up from our hotel with good communication. Took about 2 1/2 hrs to go around mine. A lot of walking which wouldn’t be suitable for people with not good mobility.

I did the salt mines with my mum. We had our own car, the driver was lovely and informative. Our guide was informative and had a good sense of humour.
To go into the salt mines there’s a lot of steps especially the beginning, they are twisty so you may get dizzy also if your mobility isn’t great you may struggle. There’s a lot of walking but apart from the stairs I wouldn’t say too difficult. They say to watch your head in places, I’m 5ft 10 and didn’t have to, any taller people may need to. Most of it doesn’t feel claustrophobic. It was a nice tour nice and items in the gift shop at really good prices. Highly recommend

What a great trip! Lots of walking but well worth it. The minibus driver was bang on time and a really nice chap.
Flawless! The driver picked us up on time, our tour guide was knowledgeable and considerate of our slower-moving people and the mine was as amazing as I had hoped.
