Itinerary

Kick-off your small-group day trip to Bursa by meeting your guide at your Istanbul hotel. Then, journey by ferry to Yalova to get in your air-conditioned coach and continue to Bursa.

Arrive in Bursa and start with a stop at the 15th-century Green Mosque (Yesil Cami). Here, discover the eternal resting place of Sultan Mehmet who was buried at the Green Tomb (Yesil Turbe) in 1421. Admire both attraction’s elegant architecture inside and out as you explore with your guide.

Next, stroll to the Great Mosque (Ulu Cami) and enjoy its Seljuk architectural design. Marvel at the 12 towering pillars and 20 stunning domes built in 1399 in the heart of Bursa. Then, learn about the Muslims who have worshipped at this imperial building over centuries.

At a local restaurant where Sultan Murat II formerly feasted, stop for lunch to savor kebabs and other traditional fare. Afterwards, continue to the enormous marketplace of Koza Han, where for centuries international silk merchants have congregated to do business.

Next, head to your last attraction of the day Uludag (Mt Olympus). Arrive by cable car and capture expansive views of verdant fields and Bursa below. Finally, cruise by coach past well kept Ottoman-era residences as you journey to Cumalikizik Village. Then, enjoy more window views as you travel back to your Istanbul hotel where your tour ends.
