I took my 14yo daughter because we really wanted to see the Harem and Holy Relics. For a very last minute booking, this included the price of admission for both the palace and harem, working audio sets, lively tour guide, Martin, true skip the line experience, and a breakneck tour lasting 90 minutes. Given his directions after, we stayed another 2 hours and did a lot on our own, but it was mostly viewing exhibits, for which we didn’t feel the need for a tour guide. However, the lines to the treasury and costumes got very long and I’ll have to return to Istanbul to do this tour again. I was worried about reviews that said the meeting point was hard to find, but I didn’t think it was the case. I easily reached out on Viator and WhatsApp to message and double check landmarks and the company was very responsive. Great experience!

Good guide knowable and friendly. Good tour with free time after in the palace complex. Only problem meeting place difficult to find some where better know would have been better

Good Leader but forgot his flag.

Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, & polite. However, he did not have a flag. The crowds during our tour 9/28 were huge. I stopped to take a quick picture & lost my group. Just before total panic set in my partner called me to let me know where they were. ALWAYS request a Flag!

The meeting address provided was incorrect. I arrived early and waited. When I reached out to the company through the “contact vendor” button, they were very responsive and rebooked me from the 9:30 tour to the 12:00 tour. The change was irritating but not horribly inconvenient. The new tour guide had all of my tickets and information. I was very pleased with that. The tour guide himself was less than adequate. He stated a few times, after questions were asked, that “people take his tour to skip the lines” as opposed to relying on him for historical information. I had already taken two other different tour groups and had been impressed with the guides English, personality and knowledge. Unfortunately, this one did not live up to expectations. In addition to that, he mentioned several times over the course of the tour that he ex pected tips from us. At the end of the tour he called us by name asking for tips.

Although the meeting point is clearly stated in the tour information, we also sent you a message with the exact location and meeting point one day in advance, as we always do to ensure smooth coordination. Despite this, you arrived late to the meeting point and missed the original tour. According to our policy, this would typically be considered a "no-show." However, as a courtesy, we accommodated you by rescheduling you to the next available tour at 12:00 PM, free of charge. Regarding tipping: We’d like to emphasize that tips are never mandatory. Tipping is entirely at the guest’s discretion and should be based on the quality of the experience. No guest is ever obligated to give a tip. Thank you again for your feedback.

No meeting information provided through Viator, when questioned we were told to wait in place for tour guide, tour guide never showed. Requested refund; denied. Do not book with these guys.

However, we would like to clarify that our guide was present at the correct meeting point at the scheduled time, as clearly stated in the tour details provided through Viator. Unfortunately, it appears that you did not arrive at the meeting point on time, which led to the missed connection. We always do our best to contact guests if they are not at the meeting point at the scheduled time, and we wait for a reasonable period before proceeding. As the tour went ahead as planned for other guests, and the no-show was not due to any fault on our part, Viator’s refund policy did not allow us to issue a refund. We do understand how disappointing this must have been, and we always encourage guests to reach out with any issues before the tour so we can assist in real time. Thank you for your understanding.

Great experience! Akin was so knowledgeable and the palace has so much to offer. A really great tour! However, the meeting point on the viator ticket was incorrect and Akin was kind enough to assist and meet us at the incorrect meeting point.

If here are 10 starts I would give it! Everything was very professional and accurate. Initially we took this Aya Sofia and TopKapi fast track via Viator, it was smart, we skipped all the line, we heard a lot of beautiful history and art stories. Then we visited Cisterne and light show, this was AMAZING :) lights presented history of Turkey. Additionally we also took private yacht on Bosphorus with launch included... it was full enjoyment, and as well relaxing after walking day. HIGHLY recommend Zeki and Manoyla Tours!
