The Istanbul e-pass has provided the worst service I’ve experienced with tours and passes booked through Viator. It took numerous inquiries and weeks of back-and-forth through WhatsApp and Viator customer support just to receive confirmations for at least two of my reserved tours. The meeting points for the tours are poorly marked or not located where indicated; for example, the Sunset Cruise meeting point was not clearly identified, and I ended up having to confirm with an unmarked group standing next to a gas pump near the designated spot. These people did have a list of tourists, but the organization was severely lacking.
The day trip to Bursa was a complete fiasco. Instead of a typical tourist bus with a guide to explain the itinerary, sights, or provide any historical information, the bus seemed like a form of public transportation that randomly picked up people heading in the general direction of Bursa. The driver didn’t speak English, nor did anyone else on the bus. Since we were picked up from the hotel and I managed to confirm it was the bus to Bursa, it’s clear that this is what Istanbul E-pass considers acceptable service.
Viator should either end its partnership with Istanbul E-pass or demand substantial improvements to meet an acceptable standard. I personally plan to dispute the entire charge with my credit card company, as I have gathered ample evidence of the inadequate service provided by Istanbul E-pass.

W recently visited Istanbul and used the e-pass it help as a lot in saving time and money. With the e-pass we didn't need to que up for our tickets in the attractions and even had fast-tracked entry. Their customer service is also amazing, they are always responsive.

Wish I had canceled it . Honestly I deserve a refund. I could not get into Topkapi palace, Turkish exhibition had limited timings. Epass is not a product for 2 days . Sorry to say I lost my money.

Two attractions no guide showed up. Were unable to see attractions due to no guide. Second time sent message and got QR Code to enter but no guide to tell us information. Paid for pass to get guide so did not get money worth. Also, Hagia Sopia very confusing since no one at ticket office understood Istanbul pass and sent us on many stops that did not allow us into attraction so missed it as well. For hotel pick ups they arrived 50 minutes later than expected. So disappointing!!

We went in early September, and other cruise passengers who did not use the epass were able to see all the spots I had wanted to go to. It was hard to find the tour guides. They were not standing, holding up a white flag, as stated. The informative 15 - 30 min. tours had set times, which limited our ability to go and see all the places we wanted to see. An ad on their website kept blocking the tour time information, and when I used we-chat to repeatedly ask for tour times, the person got impatient. Nevertheless, the information from the three tours we did make, as well as the dinner cruise, made the epass worthwhile. We were able to skip a horrible line going into the Bascilica Cistern. The meal and entertainment on the dinner cruise were very good, tho it was too loud.

The tours were disorganized and had way too many people especially the topkapi palace. Another problem was that the guided tours are done outside and you are sent in alone. Hard to connect the actual site with the info provided. Total waste of money.

Extremelu well organized Package and fantastic communication. We never felt left alone when we had a question or a concern.
Are Guides where very knowledgeable and the Package is worth its price.
The only a bit negative bit is that the Haga Sofia Tour is only 15-20 minutes and outside and not in the Haga Sofia. Other Tour guides where allowed to go in (not sure why).

Ok so I had a two day pass there was some great points of the pass but one bad thing. Over all I think the pass is value for money Hagia Sofia is not work the wait for the talk as you know the basic of the history if you do the other tours before in the local area. So it’s best to go pay to go inside instead of waiting around for the talk. The dinner boat trip was a must for was ok and staff was very nice and looked after us both.
So to the bad point so I was told two weeks before I went that the galata tower was closed and that’s all ( it’s should be included in the price of the ticket ie free entry) but by the time I went the tower was open and after we did the lamp making we went to the galata tower as it was close, but the ticket was not on the app. I messaged the person and I was told it was not included and had to pay 2400,00 tl to enter with the audio £60 for two of us. I have just checked and it says the galata tower is included so I don’t know why I was told different. Check the app as I’m sure I’m not the only one this has happened to.

We weren't able to download the guidebook so it was next to impossible to plan a lot of things. We did go to the Topkapi Palace and Blue Mosque, but never managed to find the meeting point for any tours. Overall, we did not use the pass for one single place. Ended up being a 100% waste of money.

The best thing we did was to get E pass through Viator. Their service is good. whenever we had question or to find out regarding timing of place anything I would go on chat line and ask them and they have been very prompt on helping and trying to solve the problem. Thank you team !!!

A great way to see Istanbul. We would have not done half the things if we did not have the Istanbul E-Pass. All tours are extremely well organized and start on time. We were lucky to have Kadir Kart for the Eyub Sultan Mosque and the Bosphorus cruise. What a wonderful person and guide he is!!! We were enchanted by his historical knowledge and passion for the city. The dinner cruise was fantastic. This pass is a great value and enhanced our Istanbul experience. This pass is a scam! Horrible to say the least! I encountered so many issues. The trip to the islands they gave me the incorrect time so I had to wait over an hour and a half before the boat left. The orator was rude and told me Jd I had a complain to contact Istanbul pass. The private ride from airport again I had to wait! You would think that if it’s pre booked they would be waiting for you just like any other private ride in any country. The food in the boat was undercooked. Horrible taste and most of the food went to the trash no one liked it. The maiden island trip
A mess. They give you a schedule I arrived super early they asked me to come back and I came back in time and the boat left 6 mins early. The captain refused to come back and only spent 2 mins on the dock. I even have a video Jd the attendant trying to get the captain to come back and telling him he had left early. Picking people up and people weren’t ready so we had to wait 15-20 mins per stop a total waste of my morning I endured 2 hours of picking People up and ended up not going! Istanbul pass doesn’t take any responsibility at all everything is out of their control. The whirling show another disaster I went only to find out that it was overbooked even though Istanbul pass kept reminding f me to go and that h didn’t need reservation so couldn’t attend either. Now they told me they would give me a partial refund which. Is not acceptable considering that every single thing they booked for me was a mess I ended up not going or not even being able to have a good time

QE code for bus shuttle to airport was ‘expired’. I had to pay to get on the bus, which was a letdown of expectation.
Princes island ferry tour with lunch could had carried on but was canceled the day before. This was despite forecast of weather to be good on Sunday.
It’s hard not to feel cheated and played out.
The use of the pass was not easy either.

Excellent pass for exploring Istanbul. We definitely got our monies worth. Doing the guided tours is well worth it for their knowledge. The free Bospherous Cruise was definitely worth it, as are the discounts. There is so much to choose from. Highly recommend.

You guys are doing a good job. Always available via watsapp support. Recommendations to visits is a plus. Good value for money provided you cover the key attractions. Waiting time before entry to attractions, starting of the trip at said time and limiting the guests in each tour slot is something which needs to be worked upon.
