Bait and Switch

The tour did not stop at any of the stops listed and I am incredibly disappointed that I only had one day in Istanbul and did not see the main sites I was hoping to see including Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapl Palace, and Balat. The only things that matched were going to lunch and taking the sunset cruise on the Bosphorus. Instead of stopping at the stops listed on the itinerary, we stopped at Uskudar- Kisikli Mh, Camlica Republic Mosque, Beylerbeyi Sarayi, Eyup Sultan Mezarligi, none of which were listed on the itinerary or places I was looking to see.

The tour was quite educational, with a guide who demonstrated extensive knowledge about each site. He allowed sufficient time for photographs and personal exploration when needed. However, the night boat tour felt excessively long, leading me to disembark early when we returned to the dock to pick up additional tourists. I rated it four stars because the guide often neglected to ensure the group was together when moving to the next location; he would simply proceed without checking on everyone. I suggest bringing a headscarf, as it is required in most exhibits, and purchasing your Hagia Sophia Mosque ticket online to avoid higher charges. For first-time visitors to the country, I would recommend this tour, with a different guide.

Enjoyable cruise. Had to wait 30 mins in a car park basic cafe for boat. Toilets dirty on the boat. Not long enough 1 hour stop for lunch. Just worth it.
