I had an amazing day thanks to my wonderful guide, Sam.
Sam went above and beyond—taking the time during our travels to point out sights, explain cultural practices, and highlight the differences between city life and rural life. On top of all that, Sam is also a fantastic photographer! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

The tournguide was very unprofessional. She looked like she just rolled out of bed in her pj's, uncooked hair and half her fake nails missing. She did not appear to know the proper directions and the driver had to stop and ask directions several times. Our guide did not give us any information and did not have any activities set up for us. We just wandered random streets and alleyways. Trains trees was closed so we ended our tour early.
This tour was a complete waste of time and a very odd experience. We weren't sure if the tour guide was hungover or still under the influence of whatever she was partaking of the night before.

I recently booked a Viator tour for three people, expecting a comfortable van for our journey. However, our experience fell short of expectations. Despite booking for three persons, we were cramped into the backseat with me seated in the middle, which was incredibly uncomfortable, especially considering I had undergone neck surgery. The 50-minute drive was particularly challenging, and my neck was left hurting by the end of it.
In terms of advice for future travelers, I recommend bringing your own bottled water, especially if you're visiting during hot weather, as it can be quite exhausting. Despite the discomfort during the journey, the tour itself was enjoyable. Exploring the train street and the enchanting Incense Village provided a fascinating glimpse into Hanoi's culture and traditions, making the overall experience worthwhile. However, I hope that Viator can improve their transportation arrangements to ensure a more comfortable journey for all travelers.

Dear,
We feel sorry to hear that you were not happy with the tour transportation because you were cramped into the backseat as you stated. Normally, we arrange a 7 seater car for a group max of 3 people and group of 4 to 12 people will be arranged a van. We have never heard any complaints like yours before and all of customers were very happy with the arrangement of the tour transportation. For this trip, you have 3 people in a 7 seater car so we thought it would be pretty much enough space but it seems you expect more than that. Thus we are thinking to offer another option of having a bigger van with extra payment so that no such a complaint like this happen in the future. About bringing bottled water during hot weather, we think that it is correct and all passengers will know this for sure. It is more convenient and cheaper to buy bottled water in a local grocery’ than to buy from hotel. Plus one bottled water given free in the tour. Luckily, you were still happy with our tour program and tour highlight. Best wishes!
