Do not book!!!

SCAMMERS!!!! Unless you want to be left behind and never picked up, booked this trip! They will not respond, their phone number does not work and says no longer in service and then they just tell you the morning of the trip that they made an error and they will not pick you up. Completely ruined our day!!

My guide Leon was a happy, informative guide. I enjoyed seeing the process of making incense. The incense photo area is not a farm. It is set up for pictures FYI. The drive is long but it is nice to see a different area of Hanoi. Leon was a great picture taker. My tour dropped us off for train coffee and you get back to your location on your own. The workshop hat is quick, don’t expect perfection!

Avoid this tour or you might get ignored

I was so looking forward to this tour on my first full day in Vietnam. I was to be picked up at 8 so I was out in front of my hotel by 7:45. When no one had arrived by 8:30, I contacted the tour company directly with no response. I repeated attempts at contact at 8:45 and 9:30 before I finally gave up, having sacrificed two hours of my day. I then contacted Viator and did receive a quick refund.

It was a good sightseeing...

It was a good sightseeing tour to see a lot in one day. However, I booked a small group tour and it seemed quite large in size. Also, we went to see one of the stops and when we came back on the bus it smelled of cigarettes. Overall made the most of the experience and met nice people but the tour was a bit disappointing.

Great full day Hanoi city tour

I enjoyed this tour very much and learnt a lot about Vietnamese history and culture. Our guide, Mr Lee, was excellent. He gave us good information and handled a difficult situation with obnoxious guests calmly and professionally. Highly recommended.

I added on a Hanoi day tour very last minute and Harry from IndoChina offered assistance immediately. Originally he was the one looked after both day tour and night food tour, unfortunately, he was feeling poorly and assigned a lady tour guide called Van for us. Although she is young at age, not only she appeared to be very knowledgeable on Hanoi history, she also showed her genuine care on take care of my As my mum was too tired after day trip, we had the night food tour cancelled, though, we did have a good time. :

Excellent services,Great tour guide...

Excellent services,Great tour guide ,We had the pleasure of having a private tour with Mary to a whole heap of delicious street food spots in Hanoi. Thanh was awesome. Friendly, fun, great English and very knowledgable. She was so flexible and added stops to our tour when we mentioned being interested in trying a specific food. She was so genuinely interested in us having a good time in Vietnam. She even helped us organise other tours in Hanoi and Hoi An. Would highly recommend.

It. Was. Great! We had so much fun and we were so full we had to surrender. And our guide seemed quite disappointed that we didnt get to taste all the food he intended for us to try. Our guide, Tommy, was a really great guide. All our tour guides in Hanoi we booked 4 separate tours were goood but Tommy is our uninamous favorite. We were late in starting our food tour almost 8pm instead of 6pm because we arrived very late from our previous day tour but he patiently waited for us. We were ok to end our tour at 9pm as per orIginal itinerary but Tommy would have none of it. We ended about 11pm, but only because we already surrendered. We loved all the food we tried in Hanoi. From hot noodle soup, to cold noodles, to street bbq and kebab, to local sweets, to egg and coco coffee, etc. Tommy brought us not only to the places frequented by tourists but also to places where only locals would normally go. Oh, and of course we ate on the sidewalks like everybody does. It was quite a gastronomic experience for our entire family.

Interesting but not inevitable

We couldn't go to the incense village, so we made a Full-day tour of hsnoi. So we visited the main points. The guild was very kind and attentive.
