We had a great tour led by Chi. She was perfect as explaining the origin of all the food and general culture in Vietnam. Thank you Chi. This was a walking tour with a velo cycle at the end.

The cyclo tour is missable, but the food tour was amazing. There is a separate listing for just the food tour that I would do instead of this joint tour. Dan was funny and really enthusiastic about our group

Did the street food cyclo tour. We walked from the meeting point to a number of spots and ate some food prepared and waiting for us. Our guide Sarah's english was passable but only just. Was hoping for a bit more of an education but didn't learn much. We've since done other tours where we learnt a lot more about street food than this street food tour. We thought we'd be doing the tour by cyclo but a cyclo arrived at the end of the walk/food tour and gave you a 30 min ride. Basic tour was hoping for more.

Beautiful Leen, thank you so much for a great tour with delicious food and great conversation. Initially l wasn't really interested in a food tour. Now l would highly recommend doing a food tour as we learned so much that we became more confident in eating a wider variety of foods. Not mention we meet Leen❣️

Food was great! Tour guide was knowledgeable and gave very detailed descriptions about the culture, what tourists should avoid doing in Hanoi. He also helped recommend other things to do in Hanoi to ensure a pleasant stay outside of that food tour.

Explore Hanoi by walking in a group is very good. The tour guide, named is Anna, always answer our "what and why" question than compare to our culture. Besides that, we taste 4 different traditional food that really good. The tour guide serves no pork food...

Our tour had a delayed start as our guide Claudia was in a motorbike accident on her way to work. After assuring us she was well enough to continue we set off on the cyclos. I had Claudia riding with me while my boyfriend was in another cyclo behind us, which unfortunately meant that while I could talk to Claudia and get some information while we travelled he could not. All of the local food stops were places we probably would never have been able to find by ourselves and everything was delicious probably the best banh mi we had anywhere in Vietnam but we were disappointed that there was no real information provided about the Old Quarter or Hanoi in general. Even when we asked about what we could do or sights to see in Hanoi we weren't really given much of anything. Particularly disappointing as Claudia had perfect English so it would have been very easy to learn some of this information from her.

This was well worth the cost of the tour ! It was nice to get a feel of Hanoi, taste the different foods and see the area ! Our guide was very friendly, nice and we saw a lot in the short time of the tour ! Highly recommend.....

Only trouble was the guide thought we had booked an eating tour and didnt seem to know anything about our expectation of a cyclo ride. He did however give us a very interesting. Tour othe markets brew houses and we did get our cyclo ride.

My tour guide arrived on time and took me around Hanoi old quarter. It was a great tour and worth the money. Also I have to mention this very flexible tour and you can tailor it according to your preferences. Highly recommended!

Our guide arrived late and then he was still trying to organise the cyclo riders which meant we left 15 minutes late yet the tour ended exactly on time. We felt pressurised by the guide who was insistent on us going on some other tours after this tour. My husband's rider kept tapping him on the shoulder in the last 15 minutes saying money for beer all the time, so there was undoubted pressure for a gratuity. It may be better to use riders who are contracted to deliver this service to avoid this type of thing happening. We had done a lot of walking in the Old Quarter and felt that the tour did not add anything to our experience. If you are not a walker then this tour will give you a close view of the Old Quarter. In any event a person could simply call a rider and do this trip without having to work with a guide who actually did nothing except have a ride. Our guide was very pushy at the beginning and end for us to do more with him to the point that it became annoying. We were glad to get rid of him.

This was a great evening. We were taken to places we would never have known about and enjoyed fantastic local food, which then set me up for the rest of my stay. Our guide Claudia was fantastic and tailored the evening to exactly what the people on the tour wanted to to...Highly recommend

Really enjoyed our city tour. Anna, our guide, spoke excellent English and she was well informed and enthusiastic. We visited several local restaurants and cafes. The highlight was the egg coffee at our last stop. If I could make one small observation and that is there was a little too much food.

We had a great time with Lara walking the Old Quarter of Hanoi, sampling food. The cyclo trip was amazing, the traffic is unbelievable. A great way to get around. Finished up in a tiny café, which we never would have found, and drank Hanoi's delicious eff coffee. Thanks Lara.

This was a wonderful way to spend my last morning in Hanoi. My guide Lynn spelling? was fantastic. It was just the two of us and she catered the morning specifically to me. She asked about what I had already done and what I would still like to do. I mentioned that I wanted to try Bun Cha and that was the first thing we did. It was amazing and delicious. She also introduced me to lots of other food I had not tried yet. It was nice to be able to have a one-on-one conversation with her about her life in Vietnam. I feel like I got to see, taste, and learn more about Hanoi beyond the surface.
