Kevin showed us so many delicious foods from local food vendors that we would have never found on our own. He is personable, funny, and energetic. Every single food that we tried was delicious and unbelievably fresh! The walking tour was a great format because we get to explore the city while eating awesome food and talking. Kevin is an absolutely awesome tour guide and we highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the city and wanting to try the best food that Hanoi has to offer!! 5/5 stars!

We had a great time with Kevin. Pre trip communication was superb and the food tasting was great. There were 8 in our group and kevin did a great job of conversing with each person one-on-one and as a group. He accommodated our vegetarians and made the entire experience a ton of fun. We were so full at the end. So happy we kicked off our first day in Vietnam with this tour!

This was hands down the best food tour I have ever been on, Kevin went out of his way to personalize it and make sure we stopped and ate delicious food non stop. This was a great combination of real food and street food.

As a solo female traveler, this Private Unstoppable Gourmet Gastronomic Tour was everything I could have hoped for and more. From the start, Kevin made me feel completely comfortable, safe, and genuinely cared for. The tour was fully customized to my interests, appetite and new offerings I didnt even know I would enjoy, and trust me, his goal is to make sure you leave absolutely stuffed, so come hungry!
Kevin kept feeding me until I honestly had to say I couldn’t eat another bite. Every stop was delicious, authentic, and thoughtfully chosen. All the food was elevated options that included places that locals eat at and multiple Michelin rated restaurants. He was more than happy to add a stop at Train Street, which was such a fun and memorable experience that I was super excited about, and he was also willing to let me stop at local stalls to shop whenever something caught my eye.
What truly sets this tour apart is that Kevin’s only goal is to make sure you have the most memorable experience possible. The tour felt personal, relaxed, and completely tailored to me. I never once felt like “just another guest.” If you’re traveling solo (especially as a woman) and want an amazing food experience with a guide who truly goes above and beyond, I can’t recommend this tour highly enough. It's worth every penny and Kevin was soo great that I may add another tour for different foods with him before I leave. He is THAT good! You won't be disappointed.

Our food tour with Kevin was one of the absolute highlights of our time in Hanoi. Kevin is a former chef, and it shows — not only in the incredible food, but in how he explains flavors, techniques, and the stories behind each dish.
We went far beyond the tourist spots to true hidden gems we never would have found on our own. The variety was outstanding, from classic Hanoi specialties to unexpected local favorites, and every stop felt carefully chosen.
Kevin is also hilarious and an amazing host. His jokes, stories, and easygoing personality made the tour feel like exploring the city with a good friend who just happens to know exactly where to eat.

This Private Unstoppable Gourmet Gastronomic Tour did not meet expectations, particularly given the $83 price. The food offerings were minimal - a cup of coffee, a noodle bowl containing a few pieces of beef, a doughnut hole, one small crab eaten on the street, a few bite-sized pieces of fish with noodles, two beers, and one cocktail. For the cost, I could have comfortably dined on my own for several days.
The guide arrived late despite previously agreeing to an earlier start time, and a promised additional tasting was later replaced with a simple list of recommendations.
Furthermore, comments made by the guide about seeking an American woman—followed by an acknowledgment that he was married—were inappropriate and created discomfort, particularly as a solo traveler.
Overall, the experience did not align with the tour’s advertising. All the food was good, but not a good value.

I would do this tour every single night if I could! Kevin planned out an amazing eating experience! And I love good food! He took us to places that only a local would know - and my guess is that he also customizes it as you go along to ensure the best experience for all! Do this your first night in case you want to go back to any of the locations again! Can’t say enough about this wonderful tour!

Kevin was very personable and knowledgeable - the perfect tour guide! My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our gourmet food tour with Kevin. Communication was excellent and Kevin was very flexible with the changes in commencement times. There was an abundance of quality food being offered and Kevin tailored the options to our taste preferences. He really took the time to listen and find out about what we enjoyed eating, as well as, being very attentive and inquisitive in learning more about what life is like in Australia.
The diverse locations we visited ranged from trying delicious authentic Hanoi street food to superb Michelin star restaurant. The flavours were exceptional and enhanced our appreciation of Hanoi cuisine. Kevin kindly offered to take us to try the best cocktails while listening to live music that topped off a truly memorable experience!

This was hands down the best tour we've done on this trip! Make sure to wear your best shoes, this tour thrusts you onto the insanity of Hanoi's bustling city streets. You'll be hitting some traditional restaurants for unbeatable fair, but the real charm here is the hidden alley ways and street food scene that could only be navigated by a local. Kevin's charm and wit made this less of a tour and more of an AMAZING night out with a close friend.

Had an amazing evening with Kevin touring us around The Old Quarter and French Quarter, eating one amazing dish after another. It was the highlight of Hanoi for us and we are so glad we booked it. We would have never tried any of these dishes had it not been for Kevin. He was also really funny and kind and I highly recommend booking with Kevin if you are going to be in Hanoi!

Kevin made the complete experience enjoyable and fun! He was flexible and picked me up at hotel and coordinated all stops via grab. It was my first time in Hanoi so having a local that spoke English was reassuring.
All the venues and food selections were fresh, authentic and absolutely delicious. All the dishes were unique and new to me so it made it even more special. There were a total of 5 dishes and a cocktail to finish up the tour. I honestly can say that I would eat all the dishes again.
To finish the tour Kevin made a sure we made a stop at the restaurant where President Obama and Chef Anthony Bourdain ate. It made the outing even more special.

Five stars aren't enough to describe my experience on the food tour—it was amazing! I spent a week in Vietnam and wasn't initially interested in a food tour; I couldn't see the point of it. I found myself going from restaurant to restaurant without being able to eat anything. However, after doing the tour with Kevin, everything changed. The delicacies, the places we visited, and the overall experience were unforgettable. Words can't truly capture how incredible it was!

This was my first tour on my first morning in Hanoi, and Kevin was an amazing guide to introduce me to this vibrant city! We visited 7+ stops, for both Michelin bib food but also hidden speakeasys I wouldn’t have found otherwise. Kevin was also very quick to personalize the tour to stops I wanted to see and followed up with recommendations to my other questions and bucket list items. In 4 hours, I felt I hit the majority of the tourist highlights especially in Old Quarter. Lastly, Im traveling solo, and Kevin was a great conversationalist and photo taker :) Highly recommend!

What an amazing experience! Due to travel changes we only ended up with about 8 hours of time in Hanoi…. I’m so glad we spent half of it with Kevin. Be ready--Kevin takes you all over both the Old Quarter and the French Quarter--it's a whirlwind trek--including not just food but lots of info about the culture and the people. I booked Kevin for a personal foodie tour of Hanoi and it was THE BEST experience! He was so knowledgeable of the foods, I learned so much about Vietnamese food and customs walking with him. His energy and enthusiasm are boundless and he could have just kept going and showing us more and more! He was so kind to let us stop and shop for some souvenirs and spoke with the vendors to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. He took us to the best place, cafe Giang, for an original Egg Coffee which has now become an obsession for me!! DO NOT HESITATE to book a tour with Kevin....it will be the most fun and informative 4 hours you will spend in Hanoi!

Must do food tour when in Hanoi! Kevin will pick you up at your hotel and take you on a tour through the Old Quarter and French Quarter of the city on foot and via an Uber equivalent when necessary. Kevin blends a deep love of his city, its cuisine, and humor through the tour to curate a foodie experience that’s difficult to beat and endlessly fun. He has his hotspots and must try dishes, but will also customize the experience for his guests’ tastes and preferences, always looking for a way to optimize the guest experience. We tried everything from street food to Michelin guide dishes with some adventures in between.
My wife and I had a great time and highly recommend this tour to fellow travelers to Hanoi.

What a great foodie experience we enjoyed with Kevin in Hanoi .
We ate a variety of street foods , wandered the markets , enjoyed food at two Michelin food venues & were fit to burst at the end of the evening but Kevin had another plans & took us to an amazing cocktail bar with an extensive menu
Kevin is very humorous, warm hearted & knowledgeable about food - he is a chef . He genuinely cares about delivering a quality experience to those on his tour . Kevin engaged with us at all levels , he flexed the tour to accommodate our curiosity about trying specific foods but also ticked off the “insta moments “ like the train street “ . Nothing is too much trouble & Kevin shared so much about his culture and demonstrated the warm hearted & welcoming nature of Vietnamese people . We would thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone , a five star experience that won’t disappoint …… oh & did I mention that Kevin seamlessly catered to my needs as a vegetarian as well as my partner who is a committed carnivore x

We had a really top notch gastronomic tour with Kevin who is engaging, very funny, warm, and as a former chef, he knows his craft very well. We loved that this tour took us to a wide range of venues from street food stalls to Michelin star restaurants. We also experienced foods that went well beyond pho and banh mi dishes that are typically featured in Vietnamese food tours. We had so many different dishes to experiences in a such a diverse range of settings and Kevin did an excellent job of explaining each dish and its history and context while answering our many questions. He made us feel so comfortable and we enjoyed spending the afternoon with him and we so much appreciate all that we learned and the deliciousness of the foods we experienced. We highly recommend Kevin as a guide and this tour specifically, which hit all the right notes for us.
