i 100% recommend this tour! our guide apple was so kind, knowledgeable & fun! we started the tour with happy juice 8 we definitely ended the tour as friends :) also every single dish we sampled was delicious & the most “adventurous” dish ended up being one of our favorites. finally, the location was great (the perfect amount of walking) & we has a great time!

Immersive walk around the old town

-a lot of food stops, some on side of streets some in restaurants. - a lot of walking around the old town, maybe no preset path . Didn’t really follow itinerary. We ended up on train street which was a bonus and not what we expected. - more than food. Tina our guide was motivated to do a cultural exchange also, sharing with us about architecture , language, worships, family life, funeral rituals, way of life.

This was an amazing tour of the behind the scenes of the amazing delicious food that Hanoi has to offer. Almost everything we tried was new and delicious to us. We really enjoyed meeting the other half of our group from Germany! Best of all was our amazing guide Helen (Hang) who made it so much fun! Delicious Discoveries on Day One

This food tour was the perfect way to kick off our first day in Hanoi. It gave us a great introduction to the variety of local dishes we could enjoy during our 5-day stay. All eight food items were incredibly tasty, and our guide, Elena, was pleasant and knowledgeable in explaining each one. My personal favorites were the egg coffee and Bun Cha. It was a delightful and worthwhile experience.

Highly recommend this tour for your first day in Hanoi. The tour is well planned, well chosen local food and well sequenced. All within walking distance but "secret". Even some places are hidden in the narrow alleys. It will give you good sense of directions to navigate the old quarter too. Tour guide ladies were excellent and even left us a note with the places and addresses we visited with more recommendations. Go for it don't think twice 😀
