It was a pretty long trip but enjoyed every minute of it. Our guide "Tiger" was such a character and he made every minute of the tour memorable and enjoyable. I recommend it and i would like to give our guide an A+

Misguiding highlights and poorly organized tour

Although Ha Long Bay is worth seeing, I would NOT recommend this company. They claimed it was small group, yet we had 26 people in our bus, then more once we got onto cruise ship. The company is also very unorganized. The whole day was a tourist grab, and they made anything possible additional money. Lastly for our hotel drop off, they dropped us off 4 blocks away from our hotel and stopped in the middle of a 4-way intersection. Very disappointed with the company.

We have taken many steps to narrow down the causes of this mistake and found out that you was not carefuly checked Itinerary which we listed on this site: - Firstly: You was on Limousine Bus - Only 17 Person on Limnousine Bus. Not 28 Person as on your review. We have had a lot of reviews from other guest same as on your bus on that day - Second: Please recheck Itinerary: Maximum 17 Person on Limousine Bus. And Maximum 38Person on A Deluxe Cruise. Which all inform we ,isted on Viator.com. You was not checked it. - For Drop Off: We are very sorry about that. This is clearly our mistake and we take full responsibility for it. But i have something to explain: Because your time in Weekend, there were a walking street, The goverment dont accepted the bus come inside, so we could not come to your hotel street. Once in a life time trip

Once in a life time, great day. Very, very well organised and ran. Highlight of my trip. You got SO much food at dinner, and the guide was with you all along. Great communication about what stop was next, how long you'd be there etc.

Go with low expectations of the tour company and food, do not take your kids!

The positive things about this tour was that the company picked us up, returned us to our hotel and we go to see the marvel that is Halong Bay. The rest of it was poor. The tour guide did not inform us of the sites we were passing, and the tour which should have had a max of 30 people actually had 44. The food was off. The prawns were slimy and the rest was not edible. We did not expect anything special, nor did we expect the sub standard food we received. What has triggered this poor review is that the tour company was not willing to accommodate our 2 children by providing them with fries. Their reason? The children were not vegetarian. This was extremely poor and we were stick with hungry children on a tour that goes for 12 hours. We were smart enough to bring some snacks, and the rest of he food was purchase on the boat (crisps). Like I said, we were transported and saw Halong Bay. The beauty of Halong Bay cannot be credited to the tour company, so the only thing the tour company managed to do well was transport us.

It was a good day with an interesting group of people. Be aware that “deluxe” refers to the cruise; the transfer is by a very ordinary bus whose air conditioning was not up to the job on a very hot day. Our guide was excellent and the sights and food met all expectations.

Mr. Hung- our tour guide was very professional and knowledgeable for the area. It was perfect trip for one day for someone does not have much time to go Halong but wish to tick the box then this trip is the one you look for!

you really should consider this tour. the pick up was on time but it is a long time until you get to the bay (the bus was a bit slow). when you get there it is really worthy! the view in tiptop island is amazing

A well-spent day at Halong Bay

We were lucky to get some sunny weather on our cruise day. We were picked up from our hotel lobby for a comfortable 3 hour drive in an AC minivan to Halong Bay. In between, we got a bio-break in a pearl farm where we got a small tour of how pearls are cultivated and farmed in and around this area. Once we reached our boat, we were served some delicious Vietnamese lunch. After lunch we visited two caves (one water cave, where we could either kayak or take a bamboo boat) and the Ti Top Island. We came back to the starting point while the sun set in this beautiful backdrop. We were dropped back to our hotel in Hanoi by around 8:30 PM. Our guide Ana was the sweetest, making sure she explained all the trivia and information about each place we visited. We had a great day!

Without doubt one of the best day tour in Halong Bay. Pick up from our hostel was well coordinated by out Tour guide ( Mr. Ha ). he did his best introduction about the tour & country while on the way to Halong bay by bus. super comfortable A/C bus. water bottle provided inside the bus. after 3 hours of drive with a 10 min stop to stretch legs we reached to Oyster Farm , around 1 PM we were warmly welcomed by Cruise staffs on board. very huge lunch, different varieties of foods.1st stop at sung sot cave, 2nd stop at Tip top island, additionally we were able to do Kayaking in Halong Bay & fast transfer back to Hotel. many thanks again to Mr. Ha (Tour Guide ) who stayed with us till end of the tour. i would recommend this tour to others...

Mr. Lee at the Hanoi office was very helpful. The tour guide (I think her name was Lin) was not the best. Her English was limited and she did not provide much information other than to get us from place to place. the bus rambles around the old quarter for hourss picking up tourists....so you could be on the bus from 0730-1230 before you get to the boat; and you leave by 6 pm, so it is not as long as advertised. For some reason the trip back is shorter as the expressway is used - which is should be for both wasy. The food on the boat was just adequate. Hygiene conditions seem questionable. In the afternoon they passed with a tray of cold drinks and coffee and after consumed, charged for it. Understood that pops and alcohol would be charged but it should be clear that coffee etc is not an offering but for charge. They leave an envelope on the table at the end for tips. An annoying souvenir seller was on the cruise and would not take no for an answer. Then she kept touching my arm to get me to shop ! The tour guide is more smiley and friendly at the end when she suggests tips for driver and guide. Unsmiling driver; one slam on breaks on the highway; one stall and had to open the engine to get the bus going. The scenery was great which was the purpose of the trip, but the method needs great improvement.

James was a great tour guide, very polite even though we didn't want to quit kayaking. Food was good even for those who didn't eat seafood. They sold souvenirs on board which in hindsight was a good deal. We took a tour that went to Tip Top Mountain. The 500 step climb wasn't easy but worth the postcard view.

Great experience, would definitely recommend if you want to spend the day on Halong Bay! I especially love the visit to Ti Top Island, where you get a very nice view I notice a lot of the other tours did not offer this, which was the main reason I picked this tour. Definitely worth it, great tour.

ハロン湾の楽しみをギュッと詰め込んだようなツアー。なんといってもハイライトは巨大洞窟。最後の島で頑張って登った山頂からの夕景やオプションの高速ボートも良かった。ハロン湾観光はテーマパークのようなもので、アトラクションは概ね決まっており、どのツアー会社でもできることは大差ない。そんな中、このツアーで良かったのは、ボートが同じ会社のメンバーのみだったこと。そして何よりもガイドのNamさんがとても信頼できる人間だったこと。いろいろなツアーが混在し、まして今回のようにベトナムの祝日で大混雑のときはガイドさんの役割は重要。彼はとてもにこやかに親切に客に接しながら、しっかりとツアーをマネジメントしていた。自分はこのツアーで良かったと思う。

クルーズから見える景色はまるで映画の世界に迷い込んだようでとてもきれいだった。船内で出されるシーフード料理は種類もたくさんあって美味しかった。カヤック体験では猿がいたり、最後の鍾乳洞探検では思ったより広く上まで行けば眺めがとてもよかった。全てが最高‼️

とても楽しい旅でした。当日は天候も良く、ハロン湾の絶景を見ることができました。他のツアーの混み具合によって行く順番を変更するなど臨機応変に対応いただき、スムーズに全てのスポットを回ることができました。基本ページやハロン湾について事前に調べておけばそこまで問題ないですが、当日の動きや集合時間の説明があるので、多少英語がわかったほうが安心かと思います。
