Very well organised pick-up system from hotels. the boat was a bit "tired" - it looked like it had been quite grand in the past.
Halong Bay is beautiful but sadly the rubbish in the water marred the beauty somewhat.
the visit was very time driven and if you wanted to kayak or swim on the second day you had to be ready to leave by 07.00 - it was quite cold and grey so not very enticing.
Don't expect to drink much alcohol as it is VERY expensive but he food was good.
The cruise boat and staff were absolutely beautiful. Our tour guide, Long, was very friendly, interactive and knowledgeable. The scenery was stunning. The boat was well maintained and steady, didn’t feel like being on a boat. The prices on board were quite expensive and very little water was supplied, so definitely take plenty of water. The tours was designed for a relaxing time, low level of fitness required. The tours were beautiful places however we were constantly competing with hundreds of other tourists - walking up steps or through the caves. The kayaking was the best tour by far as it gave you lots of peace and space.
Amazing, customer service, food, views, cooking class, excursions, morning tai chi. Awesome adventure. On board coffee was delicious.

Expensive compared to what you can get in Hanoi with travel agencies. There were no kayaks on the tour and we had to rent it for an extra. The guide was not very useful. The staff was however friendly. The food was OK.
Trip was good. So much more trash now than there was 9 years ago, very sad. Boat was nice and food was really good. Kayaking trip very fun. Cooking class more of just showing how to make fresh spring rolls. Would recommend.

The cruise was well done and we enjoyed our time however, the cooking class was just us rolling a couple spring rolls and there was no Morning Tai Chi or Squid Fishing.
They could have been a little more friendlier and communicative. It was not always very clear what the schedule was. The tour guide was not very helpful or very nice. The accommodations were ok. The food was good. The wine was not very good.
A stunning trip - definately the highlight of our vietnam holiday. The boat and crew were wonderful as was the food and our guide.
The staff were amazing, couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The weather was perfect, very picturesque area. Highly recommended.

Wonderful. Staff ensured that my sister had food not containing mushrooms and even made her special meals. Boat was lovely with good food and amazing surroundings.
