Book with confidence!! Don’t overpay for the excursions and rentals inside the cruise port. Daniel had us set up and ready to go RIGHT outside the cruise port gates. So easy.
I will suggest, go for the golf cart. They run stronger than sxs plus had Bluetooth connection to play music while we rode around.
Go to the lighthouse, downtown, check out the beaches

Well, other than having to go outside of the Ports Gate to get the buggy, it was GREAT! We had ordered the Trail Master GTV but was convinced to take the gas operated Golf Cart instead. It did the job we were looking for. Great day on island.

What a fantastic trip. The operator was very helpful, kind and cooperative. The vehicle we had was fabulous! People commented on the engine sputtering but that is simply the speed limiter on the engine which prevents you from going over a certain speed. I would completely do this again

The UTV was broken down. They said their only option was a 6 seat golf cart. That cart had issues so we had to turn back. They had no other carts available so our options were to take a car they had or get a refund. Given it was the day of our trip and many places were booked we did not want to risk losing all transportation so we took the car. I would recommend renting from another company to ensure you get a golf cart and would recommend renting a cart and not a car.

The machines were much smaller than expected. The competition for other options at the port were a third less than what I paid. Not very happy with this booking.

We have different carts with varying prices, and it is the responsibility of our guests to review the product description, pictures, and prices at the time of booking to select the option that best suits their needs. We had an awesome time exploring Grand Turk! The buggy gave us the freedom to get off the beaten path and find a quiet beach to relax. Just know the UTVs are used and a little worn, but they did the job and added to the island adventure vibe. If you’re looking for a fun, easy way to see the island, this is a great choice! If you’re looking for a laid-back, adventurous way to see Grand Turk, this is definitely worth doing!

Smooth and easy to pick up and return for the vehicle. They were super helpful with directions and suggested itinerary. Vehicle was waiting for us as promised outside the cruise port.
However, the UTV was painfully and embarrassingly loud and I was worried it could damage our kids ears. Think loud lawnmower. My Apple Watch kept warning me about excessive noise. The muffler may have fallen off half way through because it got even louder at one point. Next time I’d get a golf cart. The only reason I chose the UTV is because it could let the kids sit facing forward.
All that said, I have no complaints about the service, and it is my own fault for choosing this particular vehicle. I’d recommend the company.
One suggestion is to warn customers about the noise when booking.

We rented 2 UTVs and 2 golf cars, but when we get to pick them up, they change our UTVs for 2 golf cars. Initially we get disappointed but they gave us 2 new golf cars and we had a good time on the island.

Our family, with ages ranging from 23 to 81, had the opportunity to explore Turks and Caicos with DEA Trailmaster UTVs, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip! My elderly parents, who both have multiple hip and knee replacements, were a bit unsure at first, but the DEA rep made everything easy and enjoyable right from the start.
The UTVs provided were sporty and fun to drive—much more exciting than your typical golf carts! We were met by a DEA rep with fully fueled UTVs, maps, and good advice on how to make the most of our day. His respectful and polite demeanor set the tone for a great day of exploration.
We had the freedom to explore the island at our own pace, thoroughly enjoying the breathtaking scenery, a delicious lunch, and even some time swimming. The best part was knowing that my parents, though exhausted by the end of the day, were in good hands. The DEA rep went above and beyond by offering to drive them from the pick-up site back to the front of the port, ensuring that they could stay with us as long as they could match the energy of the rest of the group.
Although I don't have his name, whoever was working on August 20th is truly a gift to the company. Many blessings to you, my friend! Your kindness and professionalism made our dream vacation even more special. We will definitely recommend DEA Trailmaster to anyone looking to explore the island and will gladly use their services again in the future.

Daniel was great! We unfortunately were unable to actually experience the ATVs for the day while in Grand Turk because I had gotten food poisoning the night before. In turn Daniel was amazing and was so kind to refund us the money for our reservation at the last minute! If we get the opportunity to go back to grand Turk we will absolutely reserve with Daniel and his company again! Thank you so much for being so generous and understanding Daniel!!

The first machine felt like it was going to blow up at any time and the tires were warped. The speedo didn't work so you couldn't follow speed limits. And it was rigged to stay in gears maxing out really slow. Brought this back and was charged 10 for "gas". Asked for another machine and the guy said he didn't speak English. Yet gave us instructions in English, so I made him call his boss. Boss said to give us a golf cart instead. Which by the way we drove 1 mile down the road to beach and it was also in awful condition. We turned around to return this and it was stuttering RUNNING OUT OF FUEL. I was worried we were going to make it back. The guy tried to charge me 10 for fuel saying we have to have a full tank. This is THE BIGGEST SCAM. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Thank you for your message. Kindly note that the description or the product clearly states the type of vehicle it is, its speed, engine and capacity. You had the first UTV for half of your ship day. Hence the gas used up needed to be replaced. You dealt with 2 different agents. One who speaks fluent English who gave you instruction in the morning and advice you on the cart. The second agent whe was there at your return speaks very little English. Hence he was not lying, his primary language is French.
When he called, his instruction was to give you one of the new UTV golf carts and that he did. This one you kept for another 2 hours of your day driving around. The vehicle is equipped with a fuel guage that works. You should expect that if you keep going around the island the gas will eventually used up and you will have to stop amd refuel, the vehicles does not operates on air. Just as how you asked him to contact his boss to authorize the change of vehicle, if you had spoken with his boss and raise your concerns, the situation would have been better rectified.
I would advice you to read the product description and seek clarification on the vehicle before booking, especially when it's a vehicle you have never driven before. What is suitable for others is not necessarily suitable for you.

Sad to say that I was quite disappointed with Viator on this one. We had to hike over half a mile to get to the location to rent our UTV. My daughter and wife have problems walking so this was not good to start, yet ALL of the other vendors were renting their vehicles in the parking lot next to the cruise port. I rented a UTV because I was expecting some power beyond your typical golf cart. I was warned that the engine is loud but I figured the extra power would make up for it. However, we never could get it past 20 kph, and that was only when going downhill. I finally looked at the engine and it is only 200cc. My dirt bike in high school was 250ccs, and this has 4 people and a frame and seats for 4. Golf carts were passing us going up hills! My kids rented UTVs in the Dom. Rep. & they were 1000ccs, which is what I was expecting. Plus the brakes were nearly nonexistent - a few times I needed to slam on the brakes because of other drivers either trying to ace me out or cut me off, and the brakes were simply pathetic and very dangerous. Strangely, it cost $30 more than a golf cart, so you'd think that you'd get more, right? WRONG!!! It may be difficult to trust Viator with a similar rental in the future.

Thank you for your feedback. However, the description of the product clearly highlights its condition, its speed (governed to go 25mph) and capacity. It clearly indicates that this is not a golf cart its more of a dune buggie and you were informed. You chose to still proceed to booking, no one forced you. So you should not expect anything different from what's outlined in the product description and what you were also informed of. You were also informed of our location that we operates independently from the cruise port and how to get to us. At no point did you request and pickup assistance, else this could be provided.
It Is also not true that all of the other vendors rent carts inside of the port. Only vendors who are affiliated with the port rents inside the port. Majority of the vendors are outside of the cruise port.
You should not expect a 1000cc engine performance from a 200cc engine.
I would advise you not to book a rental and expect to receive a totally different vehicle from what was deacribed and what you booked. It seems as if you were looking for something to speed around our 7-mile island in and didn't care about the description of the product. I would advise you not to simply look at a product and book it, but first read the product description to make sure it's what you are looking for.

Honestly these are not made for adults, at 6ft 2in tall I could barely get in let alone drive.
The UTV as must have not been in the best working conditions because it sounds like it was going to give up at any moment.
The island is beautiful and it's worth renting something so you can explore but not a UTV from this company.

We paid twice as much as the people just walking up. Aside from that, 2 of our bookings were cancelled which I suppose was a good thing in the end. The cart we had was so loud and slow. We couldn’t keep up and it back fired the entire time. Rent elsewhere for less and so much better carts.

We want to clarify that our prices are clearly displayed online, and there is no obligation to rent from us if the price doesn't align with your expectations. Your group chose to rent a UTV, which comes with a higher price tag compared to a golf cart. Therefore, the price you paid accurately reflects the vehicle you rented. Your claim of paying twice as much as walk-up customers is simply inaccurate. We had no walk-up customer where you could compare their price to ours, nor did you asked us for price difference.
Please understand that online prices may include additional fees. Hence, they will be higher than local price. Also, one of the units for your group was canceled, not due to our actions, but because your card declined. Despite having the UTV for the entire day, you did not reach out to report any issues, even though you had our contact information readily available.
For safety reasons, our UTVs are restricted to travel at 25-30 miles per hour. Our island is relatively small, spanning only 7 miles in length. If you desire faster transportation, we recommend renting a car instead of an excursion vehicle.
Additionally, we urge customers to respect the stated carrying capacity of the UTVs. These vehicles have smaller engines and are not designed for excessive weight. Overloading them can significantly impact performance. Please take note that UTVs are distinct from golf carts, so if your needs align more with golf carts, we advise against renting UTVs. We encourage everyone to thoroughly read the product description, adhere to the carrying capacity, and understand that UTVs are not intended for golf cart purposes.

Had to ask around at the port for where to go but no problem. Daniel just outside the gates. Had a lot of fun in the cart. Hardly any traffic -just a lot of donkeys! Cart is very noisy but quite comfy and allowed us to stop off at various beaches. The island is very small so easy to get around and see it all. Lots of other buggies around so very friendly. Definitely no need to pay for a tour - though cart was expensive for what it was!
