We walked up with our prepaid reservation ticket and the guy acted like he’d never seen one before. He gave us some trouble asking for more proof we’d payed for his company. I’m like your company name is on the ticket, he had no way to scan the ticket. Then tried to tell us we’d have to pay more in cash for gas, online it said that gas was included. While we were still talking to him a guy with no reservation walked up. He left us waiting while that guy negotiated a price half what we had paid standing right in front of us. Once we got going, all the other carts were passing us because even with the peddle pushed all the way that cart just putted real slow. We enjoyed the little trip around the island, it won’t take you very long.. it’s a tiny island, seeing all the wild roaming donkeys was the highlight for us.
Easy to find once we knew it was outside the cruise port.
Easy, friendly service assisted by the owners children.
We didn’t check the fuel level before we left to gauge how much to put in/ get an idea from the owner.
I suggest you do.
I doubt we used $17 of fuel. Ce la vie.
We had a great time exploring the island with no issue with the cart.
Golf cart rental was easy to find and easy once you arrived. They provided a map, signed some waivers and then on your way. Golf Cart wasn’t perfect, but it did the job and we had fun exploring the island. The best part was the owner and his young sons!! We left behind a cell phone and were able to get it back even after they had cleaned and packed up for the day. Very honest and kind!!
The golf cart wasn't fancy, but it was well maintained. And the operator gave us a map and a great tip on a small beach that was away from the crowds - just what we wanted.
However, when we returned the cart, we learned that we were expected to put fuel in it. (I didn't realize that - I feel for the price, the fuel should bw included.) But I would still book again with this company if we return to Grand Turk. The operator and his kids were very friendly.
Cart broke down with in 10 minutes of riding. Was able to call and they came out quickly and took us back to get a new cart. Enjoyed the rest of the day with no problems!!
Sadly this cart rental was so far away from where the cruise lets you off. Nobody knew where this cart rental was located . The carts are very old and dilapidated. I was glad they didn’t leave us stranded. The kicker is they try to hit you up for $10 for “gas fillup” after you return the cart…Meanwhile I already paid $120 for the day…Ha ha that didn’t happen… Just FYI there are so many nice cart rentals to go to…. Stay away from Paradise Cart rental …
Everything went well with our golf cart rental from Paradise. The cart was ready for us and ran great. Easy pick up and drop off.
There are so many other options at the port with much nicer golf carts, and more heavy duty tires. Do not pick this one.
Good price, friendly staff who were accommodating. I will tell you we had to walk outside the main gate of airport and find the correct company, which was a little confusing. Our golf cart had seen better days.
Great experience. Easy to find just outside the port. Cart was a bit slow, but still got the job done.
Unfortunately our cruise could not stop at port and we had to cancel. However working and dealing with first the updated scheduled days and then to cancel it due to the cruise ship not stopping, communication and staff response has been excellent!!
They're outside the port entrance, but no signs so we had to ask other tour companies where they were located. The golf cart was older & very slow compared to others that we had seen (they were blowing right past us). We did have to replace the gas that we used, which was about $10 so no big deal, but they never told us where the gas tank was and to be fair, we never asked. We found out when we pulled into a gas station & the attendant showed us. All in all tho, it served our purposes & we had a great time cruising around the island. The price was better then others I had seen, but you get what you pay for. Would I use them again? In a pinch, sure.
Do not book! I booked and paid for the golf cart in advance. The pickup spot is not in the port, it’s about a half mile walk across the parking lot then outside the gates of the port. Upon arrival they did not have a golf cart available. It was frustrating because they gave another group the last cart and they had not prepaid or reserved. We waited about 45 minutes and he kept telling us one was on its way. Finally he borrowed one from the golf cart place next door.
When you get the golf cart they tell you to put gas in it before going anywhere since it’s in empty (I heard him tell the group before us as well). We put $15 in and only took the golf cart about 1 mile to governors beach. When we returned the cart the guy started yelling at us about not having gas in the cart. We explained there was more then when we picked it up. Very scary as we were a family of 4 standing with about 10 locals screaming at us as we walked away.
Renting a golf cart was a great experience I would just use another company.

Last minute booked paradise carts. Easy to find, good value, the cart wasn’t anything special, had a little trouble reversing but honestly it got us through the day, we went all over the island. Would book with them again.
Fun time exploring the island on our own for the day. Walk to pick up cart didn't take long, completed one form and we were on our way.
Don't use R and B. Use this company for your rental. R and B did not honor our pre paid reservation.
The carts are beat up. We barley could go, but we went. It was frustrating. Please update your carts.
This is a nice way to get around the island on your own time schedule. Make sure if you are paying up front at booking for gas that you are on the same page with the folks on the island as they tried to get me to pay again.
Carts worked. Map was helpful. They could been a little faster carts. Gentlemen was very knowledgeable and helpful at check in and out. This is not "right" outside port it is very confusing to get to and a walk. I am pretty positive when I booked the gas was checked as in part of proce but had to pay an additional $12 for fuel.
Our ship was not able to dock due to the weather which was sad. However, we contacted the company that morning and they refunded our rental which we really appreciated. Excellent customer service. We will try them again in the future.
Even though Paradise Carts is more expensive, the carts are not as new or as nice as other rentals we have made in Grand Turk. They also charged us $10 for gas which other rental companies do not charge. The people were nice and friendly.
Friendly but realize quickly we had the oldest and slowest cart on the island. We got passed by every other cart in the road. Found out later we paid the most money out of everyone we talked to. Next time I will just wait and pay cash and save $75

Paradise carts were set up very far from the ship. There are other companies closer. Also, our cart was much slower. We not only got passed by car…we got passed by other golf carts. The people were very nice and we did have a great time driving around.
Grand Turk is the perfect island to rent a golf cart! We had so much fun petting the wild donkeys, exploring random beaches, and shopping. Be sure to bring cash for gas unless you want to stop at the gas station.

The cart ran fine. A little dated but fully functional. Easy pickup and drop off. We enjoyed our day. You need a cart to do anything on the island.
Driving a golf cart on a small island with kids is a fun activity. I paid $155 for one adult and 2 kids asking for a better golf cart in the comments, even though cheaper golf carts could be found on Viator. We got literally the absolute SLOWEST cart on the island, not to mention that it was completely worn out. During the whole day we did not meet another cart that would be as slow as ours. The operator also requested to refill the gas after.
My suggestion- don’t waste time with Paradise Carts - go out of the main port gate - there are providers with much better carts and there plenty of choices.
