Captain Vasco and his crew made it a great day. The snorkeling and sting ray experiences were made easy and enjoyable for our inexperienced members. The conch ceviche was excellent and the rum punch refreshing. I would highly recommend this tour!

The entire crew was so friendly and welcoming. The trip was exactly as advertised. The snorkeling was beautiful. I do wish we got to go to more than one spot to snorkel. The stingray island was a lot of fun. The conch was super fresh. A great tour to do for a couple hours. Would definitely recommend and do again!

Our guides were great and very knowledgeable about the ocean & land. We snorkeled a reef that you could see the start of the 7,000 ft drop off and the fish were amazing to watch. One of our guides went diving for conch and made a a salad. We stopped at a private beach and learned about conch’s and we swam with several sting rays. Our guide held a sting ray and we all were able to pet it as he explained everything about it. Our group was small and we weren’t rushed through the excursion. It was fun and relaxing. We did this excursion a few years ago. We liked it so much we did it again. From check in to finish everyone was nice and helpful.

Great Experience!

Maribeth_O, Mar 2026
The highlight of the tour was swimming with the sting rays. Crew was great, Ceviche was delicious! Felt very safe, the crew kept a close watch on all the passengers while snorkeling- was a windy day and water was choppy! Definitely use the inflatable vest while snorkeling, so you can really enjoy the experience!

Response from Host, Mar 2026

Experiencing the ocean on a windy day reflects the nature of Grand Turk, where Mother Nature shapes the movement of the water and guides each decision made throughout the day. Time with stingrays, conch prepared fresh from the sea, and snorkeling in changing conditions all come together through awareness, experience, and a deep respect for the ocean that has been carried through generations. Maintaining that balance is always at the center of what we do. On a remote island where tourism supports our family and others connected to these waters, your words help carry forward the culture and respect that define each day here. 💙

Great Day

Amazing activity. Saw tons of fish snorkeling at the Great Wall, had plenty of time. Then went to Gibbs Cay, basically your own beautiful beach. Sting Rays swam right up to us. Kids loved it. Captains brought great energy and excitement. They wanted us to have fun.

Great crew!

Shelley_R, Feb 2026
Solo cruise ship gal… very easy to get to and great crew. They watched out for me being solo. Would do again.

Response from Host, Feb 2026

Arriving alone and leaving feeling looked after is something that holds deep meaning on an island where every guest becomes part of the day’s shared energy. Knowing the path from the ship felt simple and that time on the water carried that sense of ease speaks to how Grand Turk welcomes those traveling on their own. When a solo traveler takes a moment to write these words, it reaches far beyond one excursion, uplifting the households sustained by tourism and affirming the quiet, human connections that define life here. 💛

Engaging and informative snorkeling and exploration of the waters surrounding Grand Turks

Trent_L, Feb 2026
A very personal experience, we were a small group. Amazing to experience someone dive and bring up conch shells, the ceviche they made from the conch was delicious. We really appreciated our knowledgeable and engaging captain.

Response from Host, Feb 2026

Hearing that the smaller setting, the conch dive, and the time spent learning from your captain stood out speaks to what it means to be welcomed into waters that are part of everyday island life. Each mention of the ceviche prepared from the sea and the knowledge shared on board helps carry forward traditions passed down through generations and supports the families who depend on guests choosing to experience Grand Turk this way. 💚

Must do! Support local business!

Agata_W, Feb 2026
Amazing experience! Our captain was incredibly knowledgeable, and we learned so much about the area and its ecosystem throughout the trip. The snorkeling was absolutely mesmerizing in the most beautiful, crystal-clear waters. We even got to pet stingrays (!), enjoyed freshly prepared conch ceviche, and the kids were thrilled to take home conch shells as souvenirs. Communication before the excursion was excellent. Our ship was held at port past our scheduled meetup time, and I was a little worried — but they were aware of the delay and waited for us without any issues. Highly, highly recommended for all ages!

Response from Host, Feb 2026

Reading how the reef, the rays, the conch, and the clear water came together for your family reflects the exchange that happens each time these waters are opened and shared. Your note about the communication and the coordination with your ship’s delay highlights the care that guides every departure from Grand Turk. Perspectives expressed this way carry weight for the captains and crews whose heritage, knowledge, and daily work on the ocean sustain their households and keep these traditions alive. 💛

Paradise made even better...

Tanya_R, Feb 2026
We had such a great time enjoying the beauty of Turks and Caicos - snorkeling at the Wall, zooming along the length of Grand Turk Island, relaxing on the sand and frolicking with rays at Gibbs Cay, diving for conch in the balmy blue waters.... paradise made even better by this excellent tour and knowledgable guides.

Response from Host, Feb 2026

Describing the day through the movement of the water, the conch dive, time on the sand, and the encounter with the rays reflects the rhythm of Grand Turk itself and the knowledge our guides carry from growing up in these waters. Perspectives like yours travel far beyond the shoreline, strengthening the captains, their families, and the continuation of traditions that shape every tour. Thank you for recognizing the beauty of the island and the people who share it with such care. 💜

Adventurous excursion not to be missed!

Wendy_V, Feb 2026
This was one adventurous excursion! The reef snorkeling was excellent with so much to see. Swimming with the stingrays at Gibbs Cay was fantastic. Watching the crew dive for conch was crazy. And I loved how knowledgeable the staff were. We had some rough waters, which made me a little sick, but I still would not have traded in this experience! We opted for the early experience (9-12:30), which left several hours to enjoy the beaches and shops on our own in the afternoon.Highly recommended!

Response from Host, Feb 2026

Perspective like this travels far beyond a single day on the water. Hearing that the reef, the conch dive, and time alongside the stingrays all came together as a full experience shows exactly how these tours are meant to flow when guided by captains who read the ocean hour by hour and keep everyone moving safely through changing conditions. Even when the Atlantic reminds us of its energy, choosing to stay present with it and still value the encounter speaks to the spirit of adventure that lives here. On a small island, words that recognize the knowledge of the crew and the cultural practices behind what guests are seeing directly support the families who depend on sharing these waters. Descriptions like yours help others understand why open-ocean encounters, wild animals with their barbs intact, and conch brought up from the seafloor are so meaningful and why this way of experiencing Grand Turk continues to matter. 💛

Not a great snorkeling option.

Aidan_H, Feb 2026
It was a decent time. However, as a “supreme snorkeling tour”, I would expect more than one 35 minute snorkel stop. The rest of the time was spent sitting on a beach waiting for the guides to make the conch ceviche. The stingray part was very short lived and only kids got to hold the rays. Do not expect more than a small sample of rum punch. I have done 5 snorkel excursions on cruises and this is certainly the bottom of the list. Only 1 of the 2 motors on the boat worked as well.

Fun and memorable experience !

Kathleen_S, Feb 2026
What a fun experience! Learning about the island, the people, the conch and then getting to explore the reef and taste fresh conch ceviche...everything was fantastic!

Response from Host, Feb 2026

Hearing a guest describe the learning, the reef exploration, and the conch prepared straight from the sea speaks to what these experiences are rooted in here in Grand Turk. Culture, knowledge of the waters, and sharing traditions passed down through generations are what shape each day on the ocean. When visitors take time to recognize that connection — the people, the island, the history, and the food — it helps sustain the captains and families who depend on these waters and continue welcoming others into them with care and responsibility. 💚

Cut Short

William_M, Feb 2026
We had 30 people on a boat that was too small. The snorkeling was good with great visibility. The snorkeling equipment was excellent! Our tour was cut short due to a mechanical problems with the engines. The Captain was extremely apologetic but to avert being stranded, he ended the tour.

More time actually...

Damara_J, Jan 2026
More time actually snorkeling than other excursions I saw. It was a really unique experience and the fellows leading the trip were excellent, friendly, and very informative.

Response from Host, Jan 2026

Tour aborted with engine trouble

Don_J, Jan 2026
Mechanical trouble cut our tour way short. Had engine trouble going out. Stopped to snorkel but called out of the water after 15 minutes and informed that the rest of the 2 1/2 hours left was cancelled. They did refund us 1/3 of the cost.

Hard working crew and delicious fresh conch

Lawrence_E, Jan 2026
I had a rewarding experience on this snorkeling excursion. The captain and crew were not only friendly, but also very informative throughout the trip. The way the crew handled the feeding attracted tons of fish, making the snorkeling striking. The stingray encounter was also a highlight, but the conch portion was truly unique—the crew worked so hard to free-dive for the live conch prepare it fresh for us, and it was absolutely delicious. To top it all off, the complimentary rum punch flowed freely! You can really tell how much effort they put into making sure everyone has a great time. Very worthwhile!

Response from Host, Jan 2026

The entire crew was so friendly and welcoming. The trip was exactly as advertised. The snorkeling was beautiful. I do wish we got to go to more than one spot to snorkel. Great snorkeling. I wish...

jamie_e, Dec 2025
Great snorkeling. I wish there were more action with the stingrays though. The photos seem to look more fun than it actually is.

Response from Host, Dec 2025

What Grand Turk can offer in moments like this is rare—time in the ocean alongside stingrays that are truly wild and free, moving through open water exactly as they live every day, barbs intact and unrestrained. Sharing space with an animal like that, in its natural habitat, is something few places allow and many guests carry with them long after. On a small, remote island, voices that reflect on both the snorkeling and these encounters matter deeply, helping support family-run businesses and showing others the kind of meaningful ocean connection Grand Turk is able to offer. 🤍

Great tour and a fantastic way to spend a day on Grand Turk!

Shawn_F, Dec 2025
From the moment we arrived we were greeted by the friendly staff. Check-in was fast and there was plenty of seating while we waited for the other participants to arrive. Loading onto the boat was easy, right from the beach. The crew were consistently focused on making sure we were comfortable and safe. The wall snorkeling spot is a short boat ride from the beach near the cruise port. It's an easy snorkel experience that provide a sharp contrast between the reef and the drop off. It's beautiful and there were plenty of colorful fish and a friendly and curious barracuda. We then traveled to collect some conch for our ceviche at Gibbs Cay. I was impressed with the staffs diving / conch hunting ability and their focus on ensuring the practice was sustainable (returning young conch to the ocean). Upon arriving at Gibbs Cay we were greeted with a sugar fine sand beach and several friendly stingrays. The crew provided an interesting overview of the conch and process of extracting the conch from the shell, making sure those guest that wanted to participate could get involved. While the crew prepared the conch, guest could lounge on the beach, walk the beach area, wade in the crystal clear waters and meet the stingrays (with help from the crew). All the while we were offered their delicious rum punch which I highly recommend. We watched the crew prepare the ceviche which we enjoyed on our short boat ride back to the main beach. Oh, and communication before the tour was excellent, with very well detailed communications about how to find the check in location and start of the tour. They were always cognizant our our cruise ship schedule and made sure we had plenty of time to make the tour and return to the shift. Great crew and great tour. I highly recommend it.

Loved it!

Jennifer_P, Dec 2025
The location was a bit hard to find but once it was found, it was hands down the best experience I've ever had. This was my first solo cruise and first time snorkeling. They were very patient and one person even helped swim me around with the raft. Seeing all of the fish swim all around you was breathtaking! Afterwards, we went to Gibbs Cay where stingrays literally swim up around you! The captain held one of them while we all pet her (Lisa). I even got to hold her!! Seriously, book this. It is very personal, very small and so worth every penny!!!

Good Time With JJ and Ray

Diane_D, Dec 2025
We were a party of five adults, two boomers and three millennials. Our captain was JJ, aka, Captain Love, and his first mate Ray. They tried hard to make sure we all had a good time. They were very friendly and high energy. When snorkeling the reef they had food for the fish so they would gather near us and we got to see so many colorful fish. When we were meeting the sting rays, Ray feed them with trash conch parts that had he cleaned to make our conch salad. The rays were so fun and playful. Definitely the highlight of the trip. I appreciated that the trip departed and returned on schedule. We got lucky and had perfect weather. The check-in is an easy walk from the shop but about half the time was in sand.

Easy to find on a short...

Marlynn_P, Nov 2025
Easy to find on a short walk from where the cruise dock. This tour was fully booked. First stop for captain to dive to get conch was longer than I expected as he got at least 10. Then total snorkeling time seems very short for the 3 hrs trip. The water was clear and plenty of fish. We saw barracuda and most people see small reef shark as well. Then the unoccupied island beach is beautiful and you can touch stingrays. Personally I would have much preferred longer time snorkeling and half time at island.
