If you are thinking about renting a golf cart for the day, DO IT!! We had such a great experience. Cactus carts had very well maintained carts. Jeffy, who helped us check in and return the cart was a very nice guy. Highly recommend Cactus carts for your trip.

Cactus carts are about a half mile walk to a rough and rocky lot. Steep ramp caused a fall for one of our group. Carts our gas gauge didn’t work and turn signals did not work either.

Gas is never an issue with our carts the gas in always included so we always make sure you have enough for the whole day. The walk to our company is the same distance to all the other companies. Thank you for booking with us.

The only reason for the 4 instead of a 5 star review is the location of Cactus Carts. It is outside the port entrance (which is itself quite a ways from the ship). Once we were able to locate it, everything went great. We were shown how to operate the cart, reminded of left side driving and given a map. He also explained how to get to the lighthouse at the opposite end of the island. He was very personable and helpful. He also let us drive up the gate of the port entrance on our way back and returned the cart himself to the Cactus Cart location. (My husband is 85 and in pretty good shape but the long walk from the ship took a lot in the heat.)
Overall, we would use them again.

Little bit of a walk, but worth it. Greeter was nice and got us going quickly. Stopped at a few beaches that had very few people if any and did some snorkeling (salt water keeps you afloat). A fun way to spend the day and see the island.

Buy gulf cart on here instead of the cruise since it’s a lot cheaper. Staff was very friendly and helpful and gave us a map of the island. They are located outside the cruise center once you leave the gates. There are several other golf cart business outside the gate but you will see them once you see the sign. Recommend. The walking distance may be subjective esp if your handicap

Carts were very close to port and staff was helpful and very efficient. Golf cart was great and we completely enjoyed our day
Enjoyed being able to explore the island at our own pace. The golf cart was an EZ Go and did well for us.
The golf cart we had was junk. Brakes barely worked and gas wasn’t much better. The map was useless, no road signs or street names.

Cactus was professional and easy going. The distance to their site was a hike but doable. The cart was easy to use, fully fueled and faster than any other cart in town!

You can also try renting a regular car next time thats way faster. We rent golf carts and all of our carts have good enough speed so that our customers can enjoy it and be safe st the same time. Thank you for booking with us.
The staff was very accommodating. We had a shore excursion that fell in the middle of the day, we were able to turn the cart in temporarily and pick it up again when our activity was finished. The attendant was excellent and had the cart ready upon our return to the rental lot.

My cruise ship was not able to dock at Grand Turk port due to weather condition but i got my full refund from golf cart booking. It's great! Definitely will book again for my next trip to Grand Turk. thank you!

This was the best experience since you determine what type of tour you want. We were able to group a history lesson (lighthouse) with shopping and beach time.
It was lots of fun . Pay attention to the map. Lots of people was turning around cause they went the wrong way from not paying attention. Watch for donkeys on the sides of the roads .
The cart was easy to locate outside the port and we were given good instructions on how to drive the vehicle along with a map of Grand Turk.We had a great time going around the island visiting the lighthouse, Cockburn Town and Governor’s Beach. Parking was free everywhere. The cart we hired was very comfortable for 6 people plus our hand luggage and if we visited again would definitely hire a cart from Cactus Carts .

We had a fun day with the golf cart. However, the directions to pick up the cart were a little confusing as we almost took a taxi from the cruise port to Cockburn Town to pick it up when the cart was actually waiting for us just outside of the cruise terminal main gate. Fortunately, when we asked a taxi driver, her told us where to pick it up. The golf cart was in fair condition, however there were many other golf cart companies who offered newer carts with more amenities such as turn signals and radios. Overall, however, we enjoyed having the golf cart to explore the island at our own pace.

We found the cart stand easily. Jeffey explained everything we needed to know and gave us a map. The cart was clean, full of gas and comfy. Seatbelts in back were great for our bags. It was in great shape.
The island itself needs road signs.

We had the best time. I would definitely recommend renting a golf cart in Grand Turk. We were able to explore the entire island and still had time to visit the breach for a few hours at Jack’s Shack for a few hours. The experience was so easy!

Friendly and helpful host. They give you a map which is helpful. Our host showed key spots of interest on the map. The day was ours to explore what we wanted. Local drivers are considerate of Golf Cart travelers. We did not have any issues with our gas powered Golf Cart. We did see other groups getting assistance from their companies at some of our stops, or the side of the road. There was a contact number clearly listed to call in case of an issue. We had a four seater golf cart which was perfect for the two of us so that we could put our backpacks on the extra seats (and strap them in either seat belts.) This was perfect for our beach supplies and future souvenirs while traveling. Loved the ability to pick our own spot on the beach to park next to rather than rely on a tour bus. We were able to explore the entire island during our excursion time including going through the local community in route to another view of the island.
Our only negative is an awareness that all golf cart companies are outside the port and therefore it is a long walk to the golf cart pickup and eventually back to the ship after we dropped off the golf cart at the end of the day. The directions to get to the golf cart were sent in the email prior to our pickup so take a screenshot so that you don’t need Internet to get the directions. Also we mainly used other people, locals, to ask questions about the directions to the location of the path. You need to exit the port and walk through the parking lot to get to the path that takes you out of port property to get to the location of all the golf cart rental companies. A couple of sign placards with “All Golf Cart Rentals” with an arrow would have given me a reassurance of going the correct direction during the 10 minute walk from the main port area. We will do this again so that we can explore this island some more and pick our own beach and food experience.

So much fun, island people so friendly, beautiful scenery, Bought hot dogs to feed the dogs and apples and carrots for donkeys at Market. We really loved the independence of touring island on our time.

The guy who rented to us was so nice and helpful. I wish i remembered his name. He was a younger kid that was from Haiti. He gave us a map of the island, and gave us lots of recommendations of where to stop. The golf cart worked fine and we had no problems.

Rental was great! Located right outside the cruise terminal and was easy to locate. Check in was easy! They provided a map and some recommendations for sights and a bite to eat. Golf cart was great and drove well. It was nice not having to worry about refueling the cart prior to returning. It is a fun way to explore Grand Turk. Would rent from them again next trip.
