Itinerary
Greet your knowledgeable guide at a pre-arranged meeting point in central Granada then head to the city’s most significant and stunning structure. Cradled by the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountain range, the Alhambra palace complex is one of the world’s most exceptional examples of Islamic architecture.
Admire the rose-tinted hue of the exterior then sail past long lines in the crowded entrance hall with your priority access pass. Follow your guide through extravagant palatial buildings and vast, richly decorated courtyards on your tour of the regal buildings. Admire dazzling domes and intricate carvings before absorbing the botanical beauty of the Generalife Gardens, the pristine landscaping of which is unrivalled.
After thorough exploration of the complex, enjoy 2.5-hours of leisurely free time to explore the charming tangle of the Old Town independently (free time can be up to 5.5-hours in the summer season).
Next, reconvene with your guide and group then venture to the UNESCO Word Heritage-listed neighborhood of Albaicin to explore the medieval myriad of Moorish architecture. Gaze at the whitewashed waterfall of buildings streaming down the hill and see ancient Mudejar churches and Islamic bathhouses.
Stroll to Sacromonte to discover a residential neighborhood steeped in heritage; see scenic streets and hear tales of the gypsy residents who inhabited the caves, which are now used for flamenco performances. Revitalize with a refreshing drink (own expense) and taste some traditional tapas in an ambient Albaicin restaurant. Bid your guide and group farewell at this restaurant after your explorative experience.

Our guide, Alberto Moreno, was amazing with the history and information provided! He answered all our questions accurately. Very pleasant.

We loved this tour! Our guide was very knowledgeble and we started our visit in the beautiful Generalife gardens which are spectacular and offer beautiful viewpoints! The visit of the palaces was incredible, everything is a definite must see! The evening visit of the Albaicin and the Scaromonte areas was fantastic with our wonderful guide Anna. She took us to see off the beaten track places that we would never have seen on our own. The viewpoints were out of this world! We definitely recommend this tour!

Wonderfully knowledgeable guide and a very thorough tour. The Alhambra was beautiful and not crowded at this time of the year. Older people might need a bit of stamina to complete this tour.

We only did the Alambra part of the tour. It was 3 hours of walking and the rest of the tour was supposed to be after a couple hours of rest. We were in a place where we could have walked to our next meeting point but were to tired to so we stayed in.
The Alahambra part was AMAZING! We had a wonderful tour guide, named Anna. She was so informative and a passionate speaker- obviously loving her job. A true pleasure to be with her.

Our guide, Anna, was very knowledgable and explained information and details about the Alhambra and Albaisin and Sacremonte barrios very well.

Enjoyed the tour of Alhambra. Being in our seventies, we had to drop the walking tour of Albaicin and Sacromonte, a riding tour would have been preferable.

Wow! This tour was simply fantastic. And our guide Anna was outstanding.... charming, informative and very pleasant. The tour consisted of 2 segments....a 3 hr tour of the Alhambra in the morning then a 2 hr walking tour of the Albaicin and Sacromonte from 6pm...we are so thrilled that we selected this dual option. The beauty, majesty, exquisite architecture, history and colossal size of the Alhambra blew us away....then the Generalife gardens and Summer Palace were equally as impressive, what an amazing 3 hour walking tour this was and what good information we received from delightful Anna. We loved every minute of it. Then we met Anna again for the evening tour, in searing heat we walked through the picturesque Albaicin and intriguing Sacromonte where houses are built in caves....absolutely fascinating and we stopped regularly to see exquisite views of the Alhambra and Granada behind us, and far below. The view from St Nicholas Church square is simply breathtaking. Anna ended our tour at a delightful tapas restaurant and bar where we enjoyed cool Sangria and tapas in the beautiful courtyard and where there was the option to stay for a Flamenco show. This whole day tour was out of this world and one I wont forget in a long while...it was sensational.

We really enjoyed the visit to Alambra in the morning and the evening walk around Granada. We drove from Seville the morning of our tour as it was the only day we could get in, we parked the car in the city and caught a cab to Start point .The audio was faulty but still an amazing tour. Book early!

The tour was very disorganized, we wasted an hour of prime cool morning time being moved around groups, then found difficulty hearing the guide's commentary due to poor quality microphone. With 27 in the group it wasn't possible to be near the guide all the time. Patricia was a lovely guide.

Seeing the Alhambra was well worth it, though the tour felt rushed and the tour guide was quite abrupt. The Albacin in the evening was lovely, and our new guide excellent and charming.

I purchased the guided tour that had both morning and afternoon portions. However, the tour guide ended the tour at the conclusion of the morning portion. She said that there was not afternoon tour. So we did not get to see Albaicin and Sacromonte as this tour package should have covered.

It would have been four stars for the Alhambra walking tour however it needs to be made more clear on the website that the walking tour of the actual town starts 3 hours after the first one finishes at 1pm. As a result of this I was not able to make the second part of the tour.

Excelente.
