An e-bike tour is a great way to see Granada. Our guide, Marta, was an excellent storyteller who explained Granada’s rich history in detail and color. She was very patient with our many questions and we had many chances to stop for photos along the way.

- there was no gear to customise it.
- both tires where almost flat ( and no possibility to give them some air.
The standard was broken. Well, a lot of work to do about the technical issues.

This tour was cancelled to due the guides illness. However, I was notified hours after booking. The only thing I disagree with was the charge on Mr C CARD that will be refunded in 5 to 7 days.

The best part of this experience was where we found a much more competent touring company to take us on an E bike ride through Granada. The e-bikes offered to us were the cheapest level, damaged, and offered no options to adjust seat height. The tour operator said it would be fine for me to ride an e-bike where my toes could not even touch the ground in city streets and steep, cobbled lanes in the old town. The same seat size that my 6’6” husband, 12” taller than me would fit. Not only a huge waste of our time, but would have been very dangerous. We found another tour operator through the hotel who had incredible bikes and gave us a splendid to our tour.

A great experience. Interesting enough, we had to pivot to segways instead of bikes for safety reasons due to rain. While I've enjoyed electric bike tours on previous occasions, I feel that the segway is the preferred mode of transportation for this tour. I would have liked our guide to provide further details and context for the various sites along the way, but this tour is about adventure first - and we covered a LOT of ground and experienced incredible views. Our guide was patient and always put safety first, which was appreciated. I'd recommend extending the tour to 3 hours to take in even more of the local community.

What an enjoyable tour! We were a gang of 4 - dodgy fitness me, my ultra-fit wife and two 16 years olds.. The fitness level is minimal so no worries on that front and the electric bikes are very easy to manage. Our guide Anwar was so courteous and knowledgeable and kept the interest of the two 16 year olds which is some achievement these days. We arrived at the viewing point for Alhambra at sunset and the experience was other worldly! The sunset rivalled the Northern Lights for spectacle. A huge Thank You to Anwar for making this experience so wonderful and the definite highlight of our trip to Granada. JOB

Lovely tour guide. It was a hot afternoon so I would suggest going earlier.
The areas we traveled were it filled with people, buses, cars, motorcycles, and it felt a bit dangerous biking on these very narrow streets with cars behind us

It was fun to bike in Granada and see some of the neighborhoods. While our guide was nice, he was not as knowledgeable as we would have liked about Granada’s history and the city generally.

Fun tour, riding the hills of old town Granada on an e-bike is fun and the area is so historically interesting. The tour company was pretty unorganized, however, so we lost 30 minutes of 2-hour tour.

This e-bike tour was amazing! A very nice way to see all the beauty of Granada from the hilltops (while avoiding walking up all the hills!). Mario was very knowledgeable about the history of Granada and it was very fascinating to learn so much! I definitely recommend this tour and thanks Mario for an excellent time :)

I highly recommend the electric bike tour! Mario was an incredible tour guide. The bikes were in great condition and he gave us clear directions on how to operate them safely. He gave us a great overview of our surroundings and some local history. We traveled up to the caves and actually had a tour of one that was not inhabited. It gave us a great appreciation of how these people lived. He was very friendly to the locals and spoke to them as we passed by. It was obvious he was well respected and kind. Mario also had a gentle spirit and a wonderful quality in that he really got to know his customer. He could tell that we were very talkative and would ask lots of questions. He was very patient and kind to us. We saw him later with another tour and he spoke to us and was extremely warm and friendly. I highly recommend Mario and this fabulous electric bike tour!

This company is a big scam. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM IF YOU WANT A GOOD VACATION.
They canceled on us twice (on the same day of the booking). The problem with that is we can’t book alternative tours with such a short notice and it just ruins the whole trip for us.
Customer service: ZERO. They simply say there is nothing they can do about it. In simple words: they don’t care about their customers.

We loved seeing the sites and Mario’s explanations of the various places. It’s was so exciting going up the hills, seeing the caves and the magnificent views of the city. Mario was knowledgeable and passionate, and easy to understand.. I would highly recommend him and the private electic bike tour to others.

Our guide Mario T did an exceptional job in getting us to most of the highlights of Granada. We had all levels of bicycle experience within our group, yet we were able to manage the hills and narrow streets with ease. The electric bike is definitely the way to go. Marios knowledge and detail of the city's history was impressive. Unfortunately, our cruise ship only allowed so much time to explore and we had to cancel a tapas tour later in the day because Granada is over 50 KM from the port and takes an hour to get there by Taxi at around 90 Euros each way. Expensive but definitely worth the drive.

Seeing Granada from a bike seat was fantastic. Exploring the gypsy quarter was a highlight and then navigating our way through the neighbourhood of Albaicin was a special treat.

Our guide was very informative and interesting.There was only two of us in the group which made it easier.Was very hot that day and very glad of the electric bike as there were a few steep hills that even being on e bike were challenging The views were fantastic and was interesting to see another part of Granada.

Play Granada only have e-bikes frame M & L and seats can not be changed/adjusted. Wish I’d listened to the other reviews about this. I was too short at 160cm to use the M frame and the guide found another bike which was partially charged and only 3 out of 7 gears worked. Incredibly difficult bike ride when the electric bike wasn’t up to much. It is an arduous bike ride with a lot of hills. Be warned. Have take . Several e tours in the past and never had this experience before with the seats being fixed.

The tour operator had only 4 e-bikes. All of them were very old and is impossible to adjust according to a person`s height . Three people in total were supposed to take the tour. My wife and another girl gave up do conditions of the bikes since they did not allow any adjustments. I took the tour alone with guide, Mario. The conditions of the bikes were so bad that Mario, the guide, decided to use a SegWay instead of the e-bike. On top of that, they recommended a 2 different day tour.
According to their advice so we booked for April/26 and April/28. On April/26 my wife and the other person gave up, on April/28 both of us did not show up. We are a frequent customer of Viator and were quite disappointed with this event. We hope that Viator does not keep the partnership with Play Granada Agency.

We were unhappy with this bike tour. Although experienced with an E Bike, I found it very difficult to use their e-bikes. They are not a good design. The tour was straight up the hill on cobblestone roads where there are lots of people in the way. The highlight of the trip was great — the view of Alhambra, the beer from the Romany bar, and the tour of the cave home typical of the Romany people.

Their bikes are one size and the seats are not adjustable. And they do not give refunds if you cannot participate in the tour because of it!
I’m 5’1, very active and could have easily participated in this tour if the bike seats were adjustable. I almost fell just trying to get on and off the bike. Their solution for this was to have the guide help me. This was not practical. I was in a group of people (that included another women that had the same problem) and we would have been riding in a very busy area (cars and people) on rocky roads and going up and down hills. If I needed to stop unexpectedly and the guide wasn’t there or taking care of other riders, I would have fell. They offered me an older bike, that had an adjustable seat, but had thinner wheels, which was not fit for this kind of terrain. I decided not to do the tour because of these things and spoke with the receptionist who was denying me a refund. The fact that I couldn’t get on and off the bike safely did not seem like an issue to them. They said things like “why can’t you just get on and off the bike?” And “we never had an accident before”. At one point one of the male workers were yelling and arguing with the other women who also had the same problem saying “I do things all the time with the possibility of getting hurt, this is no different”. Completely disregarding and invalidating our feelings and concerns for our safety. They eventually said I need to talk to Viator about a refund (which was not true). When I spoke with Viator they said that the company (Play Granada) had the final say in giving the refund. Viator talked to Play Granada for me and they basically said they could not give me a refund because they had a tour guide there that could have helped me on and off the bike. So please read ALL the reviews before booking any tours. I usually never read the negative reviews because most of the time it’s people complaining and not about actual issues. I’m extremely upset with this company and how they handled this situation, so do yourself a favor and book a tour through another company.
