We had a wonderful experience on this tour. Communication was excellent, starting 1–2 days in advance, which made everything feel well-organized and stress-free. Foad met us right at the port with a comfortable private vehicle, making for a seamless start to the day.
We also enjoyed a delicious Moroccan breakfast, which was the perfect way to energize us for the day ahead. The rest of the activities followed the itinerary smoothly, and we ended the day with a nice shopping spree.
Foad made sure we were safely inside the port waiting area before departure and even sent us off with a box of cookies to go—such a thoughtful touch.

This experience was phenomenal. The only bad thing was there was just not enough time. We saw great things. Our guide Ali was fantastic. He gave us so much history of Tanger, he was funny and answered all of our questions. We can not say enough about this experience. We will definitely be putting Morocco on our list of places to revisit. The fact that it was a private tour was wonderful. We loved that we were the only ones getting full attention. We didn't have to worry about missing anything and not hearing what was being said. Again small group or two people I highly recommend this tour.

This was a great experience from start to finish. Everything was taken care of for us (transportation to and from the ferry, ferry tickets, etc.), which allowed us to really enjoy the trip without worry. The tour operator contacted us in advance to discuss best options for traveling with kids and provide additional details. Our tour guide was wonderful and taught us so much about the city of Tangier and Morocco, the pride he has for his country really came through. Two fantastic meals and shopping as well.

Highly recommend Ali Tours for your excursion to Tangier from Spain! We were a family of 6 (including a 4 year old) and we were taken care of from start to finish. Super knowledgeable guide, incredible food, camel ride, shopping, and all the major sights were all A+!

This tour was excellent! Communication with our tour guide Ali was spot on and he seemed to know everyone! The breakfast was one of the best meals I had on our trip. The camel ride on the beach was a lot of fun and beautiful. You cant go wrong taking this tour!

The tour was great! Despite the fact that we arrived late, we were warmly welcomed and accommodated. All the activities were fun and interesting, with friendly and well-informed commentary by the guide, Abdul. We deeply appreciated the special care that every took of us, especially the many drivers who so flexible with the scheduling. It’s best to book the 8 am tour from Gibraltar so you can enjoy everything!

Comprehensive and interesting private tour of Tangier with excellent guide and driver. Hamzid our guide is a star!! He seemed to know everyone there and had a lot of good insights into the culture and Muslim Faith. I learned a lot.
We started out with an early morning cab ride over fairly wild mountain hairpins to Tarifa where we took the ferry to Tangier. There is a lot of security going on to the ferry but the ride is very comfortable. We were met by Hamzid and an excellent driver whose name I have already forgotten. sorry. We started in the newer modern area of Tangier and stopped at a beautiful park with a great view. We went on through the more expensive part seeing some beautiful homes and had breakfast at a modern Restaurant overlooking the sea. We then went to a large beach and had a ride on a camel. Not a short ride either, we got quite the experience riding our camels on the beach! The camel driver, like everybody else, was genuinely friendly and helpful. We then went to see the Casbah, older neighbourhood, and bought a carpet. We finished with a lovely lunch and were dropped off in plenty of time to catch the ferry back.
Both meals were better than expected. Lunch was very large and I was stuffed.
Everybody was very helpful and genuinely friendly. Tangier feels like a very safe and interesting city and I will likely be back. Again it helped that we had Hamzid who seemed to know everybody and that helped us feel welcome.
I enjoyed the tour immensely but I think would have preferred more of a group tour in the future. I felt like a rich tourist showing up in a black Mercedes and that is not really us. But still it was great. Kudos to Ali the tour operator who kept in touch the 2 days before and answered any questions we had ( do we need local currency, etc)
All in all I would highly recommend this for someone in Gibraltar who wants to see a bit of Africa and does not have a lot of time. Money is well spent on this!

This was a once in a lifetime day. Everything about the experience was amazing. I would highly recommend going with this private tour. Our guide was amazing. So knowledgeable and fun. And our driver for the day was so police. Our breakfast and lunch were delicious. Book this tour!

If you ever go to Tangier ask for Abdul. He is the best guide! Abdul is very knowledgeable, gets you where you need to go with the minimum of fuss. We also had great conversation and fun; he has a fabulous sense of humour. He knows Tangier inside and out and seems to know everyone! Don’t hesitate to book! We had the best day!!

Ali was a wonderful guide! I thoroughly enjoyed every part of this day. The breakfast and lunch were absolutely amazing-Moroccan food is delicious! I enjoyed the camel ride on the beach, the perfect stops for the best pictures of Tangier, the caves (and monkeys!) and the shopping. Ali made sure I had the perfect person in each place to explain or help with the activity. Everyone, everywhere we went was very friendly - I felt like I was being welcomed into their family. Would definitely recommend this if you have only one day. Well worth the visit and time. Thank you Ali!

We knew it was going to be a long day . But the company was very organised. Our contact agent was there promptly and took us to the ferry at Tarifa . All our tickets were arranged and worked very well. When we arrived at Tangier we were met by our guide Hamza and driver who were both very professional and considerate and kind . The Camel ride ,Monkey and Tucán were special experiences.The architecture of the city in its self is worth the trip .Hamza was an exceptional guide who went out of his way to make our Tangier experience a very memorable one .The Moroccan breakfast and lunch were very delicious.We would sincerely recommend Hamza and the company if thinking of a day trip to Tangier from Gibraltar. Day trip to Tangier from Gibraltar, via Spain. Be prepared for taxi to take you to border, (approx. 40 mins). Wait for ferry (good crossing) then queue up on board for police to stamp passport. (Only when entering Morrocco).
Abdul (our guide) was waiting at the port to greet us. He brought his son (Adam) along who was sweet.
As we travelled around by car and foot, we received interesting and detailed info about Tangier visiting markets, camel ride and opportunities to take photos. Abdul is a friendly man who makes a wonderful guide.

Hamza was our guide for The Luxury Private Tour of Tangier. He made our experience unforgettable. He was extremely knowledgable and had great ability to explain everything in detail. He knows the places to go and the places to avoid. He tells you how to avoid scams and get through safely. Aside from this, he will go above and beyond for you to have a fantastic time, urging kitchens to properly make your food with quality and in a timely manner, talking to vendors to lower your prices, and quite literally RUNNING to fulfill your requests. We were treated like VIP. Hamza has a great heart and was the best tour guide we’ve ever had. He deserves 20 stars!!!

This was our Tangier and Morrocco Expedition Across the Strait of Gibraltar to see the "other" Pillar of Hercules. Our guide was courteous, knowledgeable and the tour was excellent! My traveling companion and I would do this tour again and we hope to do more tours with Viator in the future.

Everything was great. Coca Cola knows everyone in Tangier and made our trip wonderful. We regret the camel ride, so maybe consider leaving that off your itinerary. You definitely want Coca Cola as your guide, he knows so much.

It was a wonderful trip. Everything was arranged and went exactly as planned. Our guide in Tangiers was absolutely wonderful. He goes by the name Coca-Cola, and was one of the best guys we have ever had. He took care of us and modified our sites as we requested. From the moment we met him till the time he brought us back to the boat who was an absolute gentleman. Very knowledgeable. He seemed to know everyone on the streets.

Tangiers is an amazing place, but we weren’t sure what to expect, so we booked a tour. Glad we did. Our guide “Coca Cola” knew everything and everyone, and made sure our visit was a success. Saw the main places, Kasbah, Medina, Cave of Hercules, etc, with just enough history to get a good sense of time’s movement there.

Best tour and very well organized. We were hesitant to book this tour but after reading the reviews, we decided to do it. One of the best tours we have done. They pick you up and take you to the ferry, after we got off the ferry Ali met us. They drove us around the city. We were surprised how clean it was. Then we had the best breakfast and view. Went to the camels and rode them for 45 minutes on the beach. The market was interesting. The are proud of the products and it is their culture to sell and bargain. We finished the day with a good lunch. Would highly recommend this tour.

Ove traveled to over 20 countryside and 5 Continents and this was hands down the best travel experience I've ever had. We packed more fin and meaningful activities into one day then I could hope for in 3 days typically. Ali is very attentive to his clients and has room to create customized tours based o. Our experience with the Ali team was amazing! They were kind, informative and gracious hosts. We travelled with our children and we felt like one of the family. They went above and beyond for our daughters birthday and although we were only there for a short amount of time they showed us all the wonderful aspects of Tangier. We recommend this tour and will definitely be back to Morocco!
