Our guild Marco was very knowledgeable of the city and its history. English was not his strongest language, but he tried hard to explain, and we were able to understand him. It was difficult to reach our meeting point, following direction for the site. Apparently, I missed seeing his message to meeting us @ the exit of the cruise port. I was able to finally connect with him, and he met us at the original meeting place, but he was upset and a little rude. Once he got over that, he brought us to quaint areas of Genoa.

We enjoyed a fantastic walking tour off Genoa, Italy with our very qualified, accommodating and pleasant tour guide. The city was incredible to visit, and our guide pointed out the highlights off the city and incorporated history off the Crusade that we would have never noticed on our own. I would recommend Poula for your tour guide should there be an opportunity to visit this beautiful city.
