Overview

Vereda do Larano is one of Madeira’s most scenic hikes, running along the coastal cliffs from Machico to Porto da Cruz. On this half-day walking tour, follow your guide on the 7.5-mile (12-km) hike through lush mimosa forests and along steep coastal trails; take in the views from the Boca do Risco viewpoint; and make a stop at the sugar cane mill in Porto da Cruz.
