Disappointing

The tour was supposed to be 6 hours long. Ours lasted 2.5 hours. The guide initially said that because we were the only ones signed up for the tour we would get a private tour. He said he would customize it. We were happy. It went downhill from there. We had barely exited the hotel when he informed us that he was cutting back 2 hours because we did not want to go to the souk or eat lunch. He would not take us to the tannery because we did not want to shop. I had really wanted to see the tanneries. He did not say too much but did respond to our questions. At Al-Attarine Madrasa he again told us barely anything. Same at Museo Nejjarine and Jardin. The highlight of the trip was the panoramic view from the hilltop. We wanted to tip the driver and he said that 20 MAD would be insulting and told us not too. As the tour progressed he just kept cutting back time, until we ended up with 2.5 hours.

Saw all of Fez in a day!

Our mission was to see all of Fez in a day and we did it! With Adil as our guide we saw all the major sights and also got to live and taste some of the local culture. Adil was attentive, informative, and an all around good guy and great guide. We weren't keen on being engaged to buy things all day and with a guide we were able to avoid that for the most part. A few of the stops came off as a little salesy but were also informative and educational enough that we didn't mind the "exit through the giftshop" approach as much. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting fes, especially if you have limited time or just want to avoid being hassled.

Wonderful tour with Hassom Khader Knows the city very well - navigate thru the alleys of the Médina along with spectacular views overlooking Fes - very attentive to our needs. Explained the details and history of the sites as well as the history and culture of Moroccan people. Never rushed us. Took us to a wonderful restaurant for lunch Highly recommend

Beware of the “cooperatives”

The tour guide was on time, knowledgeable and very friendly and the driver was lovely as well. My issue is with the tour itself. Although you will see monuments and important landmarks/structures the overall tour is based on getting you from one “cooperative” to another where you are basically harassed until you buy something. The guide leaves you while the salesmen make their pitches, which goes on far longer than it should. Also, the items are grossly overpriced compared to shopping in the souks. I would not recommend this tour if you are looking to take in some culture and are not in the mood to be harassed and don’t enjoy haggling.

An exceptional tour of the Medina from an experienced and insightful guide. The guide was superb and our experience was paramount to him. Apologies that I cannot recall his name but please pass my wife's and I compliments to him. A perfect way to experience the Medina - make sure you book this.

Pretty good tour overall. The tour guide was pretty accommodating to what we wanted to see and not wanted to see. He seemed kind of uninterested and disengaged at times, but to be fair, we were busy taking photos during those times. Ahmed--the actual guy managing all the bookings for this company was very on top of things. He responded quickly to all the inquiries. We ended up booking airport transfer with this company also. Sayed was a wonderful driver and great conversationalist.

Excellent private tour through Fes. Our guide was prompt, friendly, and very knowledgable. There were shopping/informative stops at a ceramics place, carpet co-op, and leather goods store were you could get a rooftop view of the tannery, but it wasn't high pressure to buy. Highly recommend this tour.

Our fez guided tour with this tour operator was fascinating. We were overwhelmed with the cozy atmosphere of the old medina along with it's long history. Our guide was very nice and knowledgeable, he provided us with information we wouldn't have found on our own. The guide took us to many famous attractions Al Qarawiyin University, Mederasa, Bab Boujloud.... and spoke to us about the story of each of the main historical monuments. We were also so amazed with the Islamic Moroccan architecture and the details of the Arab Mosaic. The guide was also open to answering all the questions we had about Morocco and the Islamic civilisation. I totally recommend this trip. Thanks M.Said for arranging this tour for us.
