Had a great tour with Mohamed Alami Harrak! He was extremely knowledgeable on Morocco’s history & sites we visited. He picked us up at our Medina Hotel & guided us all over Medina, oldest University, mosques, & tannery. (We visited during Ramadan but that didn’t matter.) You won’t be disappointed if you request him. Only suggestion I’d make is to return to Medina with your partner or friends & with more time to shop. Items are packed into shops & you can find some really cool things for less. (Anyone can direct you out of there if you get lost, if you ask them!). Also clothing shops you can barter for 1/2 of the cost that the larger more profitable shops will charge you. It’s exactly the SAME quality! Have fun!

Fascinating insight into Fes and tge Medina

An excellent guided tour, our guide was waiting for us outside our Riad. And we got to see so many things that we would never have seen on our own, as Fes medina is a maze and really large. We went to the tannery, which was really fascinating and he helped with bargaining for goods in the medina, it was lovely to see the lifestyles of the people who live in this incredible area, and all the different sections, like fabric dyeing, and silk making. It's such a beautiful city and we got to see so many interesting things, our guide was very knowledgeable and the tour was at an excellent pace, stopping for mint tea and pastries was a lovely bonus. Do it, you won't be disappointed. It make our stay in Fes very special

Our day tour of Fez with Mohammad was the best! He met us at the hotel as stated in the booking. He changed the order of the tour a bit per our request. We wanted to see the tanneries first. We spent the day seeing the tourist sites as well as off the beaten path places. Mohammad grew up in the Medina of Fez and knew people everywhere. We would have been hopelessly lost without him. His English is flawless. We were taken to some exquisite places for shopping but all without any pressure to buy. We are lunch at the place he recommended which was delicious. Thanks Mohammad for a great last day in Moroccoo!

We did a wonderful walking tour of Fes, was a great itinerary full of all of the main things we were hoping to see but also included a few off the beaten path highlights. We normally aren't tour people but having been to Fes once before many years ago felt like it was needed, it truly is a labrynth and having a guide is a game changer. Our guide Abdul was perfect! He's incredibly knowledgeable, felt like we were asking a long stream of questions and he always knew the answers, and often could find a physical reference to provide additional context. It was also an added bonus to chat with someone locally, lot of thoughtful conversation. Highlight of our Morocco trip so far!

Wonderful tour

Fantastic tour. We had a layover in Fez. Mohamed met us at the airport with a driver. He showed us his wonderful city over 4 hours. We saw the kings palace, toured the tile factory, saw the Medina from the opposite side of the valley and then walked the Medina. What a treat - sights, sounds, smells…. He seemed to know everyone and they welcomed him. He gave us a great tour! Highly recommended.

Very interesting, the guide knows all the good spots. we went to a very nice hammam. he brought us to the places we really wanted to see. only thing, the guide asked for 200 dirham in advance to pay for extra access to sites, but we didn't visit any extra sites, so we think he wanted an extra tip. we also had to pay for the taxi to get to the medina for the guide and us. He brought us to eat to a friend's restaurant, it was not real tajine and pricey.

EXCELLENT day! The guide was fabulous and I would definitely recommend this tour to all. There was one small hitch on part of the tour company…they did not read the details and didn’t send a vehicle for this tour. As such we had to wait, which was disappointing. The tour guide was excellent and made up for it.

La guida LARBI è arrivato puntuale al riad. Parla molto bene l'italiano ed è stato sempre gentile e disponibile. Il tour è durato 4 ore e ho visto tutto quello che c'era da vedere.

A primo impatto il tour sembra un buon tour. Ci ha impressionato la gentilezza e disponibilità di Mohammed che ci ha mostrato alcune delle gemme nascoste di Fez. Poi ha cominciato a portarci in tantissimi shop e markets, nonostante non volessimo che questo fosse lo scopo del tour. Una delle fermate è stata una fabbrica di ceramiche, fakhkari naji, che, secondo quanto ci ha detto, era tra le più importanti e affidabili di Fez. Sedotti dalla bellezza dei prodotti artigianali, abbiamo deciso di acquistarne per un totale di 4600 dirham. Tuttavia, dopo oltre otto mesi, non abbiamo ancora ricevuto i prodotti acquistati. Abbiamo tentato di contattare Mohammed più volte, sperando che potesse aiutarci a risolvere il problema o almeno fornirci delle spiegazioni, ma purtroppo non abbiamo mai ricevuto risposta. Purtroppo, a causa di questa esperienza, siamo costretti a lasciare una recensione negativa. Ci auguriamo che Mohammed non fosse in combutta con la fabbrica di ceramiche e che questa situazione fosse un caso isolato. Tuttavia, consigliamo ai futuri viaggiatori di essere cauti quando si tratta di fare acquisti su suggerimento delle guide locali.
