- There is a good amount of steps. People say it is a good workout. Wear comfortable waterproof shoes, gloves & hat; check the weather
- Includes snacks but 5¾ hours is a long time so BREAKFAST. Think everybody’s favourite Gameskeeper: if your feet haven’t swollen to baby Dolphins - keep shovelling!
- At the end of the tour you will be left at Edinburgh Castle to continue your explorations in its rooms, where guides can't go

Sam's Harry Potter Tour was a lot of fun for our family. We were able to see parts of Edinburgh that we likely wouldn't have explored on our own. He kept the kids engaged throughout the tour. The only critique is that Sam speaks really quickly so keeping up what he's saying while noisy vehicles are passing can be difficult at times. Overall, very knowledgeable and interesting tour. We definitely learned a lot!

Yes, it's a really really really quick tour for kids, 'Potter in a heartbeat', so they need to be Potter-reading literati, or they won't be aware, after all that money, that they went on one 🤦
In fact when I arrive to greet a tour, if I see a child without a monocle I'm like... 'this doesn't feel good' 🧐 But I figure it's like playing a Quidditch International in the January snow, having forgotten your Googles; it's going to be hard for them, perilous most likely, but memorable for the pain of it all 😣
