Great tour with a small group. Our guide Richie was wonderful . Each meeting spot was beautiful we enjoyed the Loch Ness cruise and would recommend to add it onto your tour. We really like the restaurant that we stop at for an early dinner. Richie also arranged for a last minute stop to visit a highland coo which made for the perfect ending.

We loved Joe!

Shannon_C, Jul 2026
Phenomenal experience. Joe is a terrific guide. Made the long travel between stop a lot of fun. Played scottish songs & told us how they tie into the area and History. Did stories in funny accents! Very entertaining. He even kept us entertained during a traffic jam.

Excellent day trip!...

Francine_G, Jul 2026
Excellent day trip! Georgie was knowledgeable, fun, and provided a great experience throughout our stops. Great way to take in the Highlands with stops for lunch, historical places, and just taking in the beautiful countryside.

Excellent tour-highly recommend! Richie!

Jacquelynn_B, Jul 2026
We had Richie today who was amazing. Upon arrival we were graciously greeted with a smile and a laugh. Nice small group with us today too. Driving was amazing and I felt safe all day. Great talking and history telling along the way. The stops were perfect with breaks and food. Timing was nice. Not rushed at each stop, just enough to eat or go the bathroom. It was an amazing day with a great tour guide. Highly recommend.

Beautiful highlands

Hien_L, Jun 2026
It is a long day trip with most of the time on road but we could see and check in most highlights of the Highlands of Scotland. Georgie is a great tour guide!

The Highlands

Darla_a, Jun 2026
It was an amazing experience. The guide John was great. He knew little historical facts and trivial ones too that kept the trip pleasant. The van was excellent although I sat in back and my feet didn’t touch ground since I’m short and there were no foot rests. But it was band new and seats and A/c very comfortable. The music list was great and the stops were good. I think I was expecting a tour of the whiskey distillery but we did get a flight to sample and it was excellent. Overall it was fantastic.

Well worth the money

Jonathan_M, Jun 2026
This day trip is well worth the money. We took this trip mostly for the stop in Inverness and Loch Ness. However, the stop at the Hermitage was amazing even with the light rain we had while there. I also recommend taking the Loch Ness boat cruise. One item of note the itinerary states a stop at a fish and chips restaurant. We did not do this stop not sure if that was due to time or oversight.

Take this grand tour!

Shirley_Y, Jun 2026
What a tour! We feel we got a well-rounded view, history recap, and glimpse of the culture of Scotland. Magnus was an incredibly personable and professional guide who kept an incredible amount of information interesting. We felt safe the entire time. Thank you!

Excellent day tour to Loch Ness and the Highlands of Scotland

Von_F, May 2026
If you’re looking for the perfect Loch Ness and Highlands adventure from Edinburgh, ask for Magnus! He was an excellent tour guide, incredibly knowledgeable about Scotland’s history, culture, myths, nature, and the breathtaking Highlands. We were lucky enough to catch one of the most incredible weather days, and Magnus made the experience unforgettable. He shared honest and fascinating stories about Scotland, including both the real history and the legendary myths surrounding Loch Ness and the Highlands. Magnus kept everything perfectly on time, drove safely and comfortably throughout the journey, and made every stop feel special. From the lochs of Scotland to the stunning scenery of the Highlands, his passion and knowledge truly brought the country to life. Highly recommend this tour and especially Magnus if you want an authentic Scottish adventure!

Great tour

Philip_H, May 2026
It covers all that it says and Richie was a friendly informative tour guide. He’s a good driver also( some narrow roads) I do not recommend the optional Loch Ness boat ride as it added nothing to the tour, we didn’t see any signs of an ‘old castle ruins you can only see from the boat’. A walk around ft Augustus and the banks of the Loch would be more exciting.

Beautiful scenery... Long...

Lisa_H, Apr 2026
Beautiful scenery... Long bus ride. Please pay attention to your time.... The bus WILL leave you. We waited 15 minutes for a passenger then left them.

Jeff with a G is AMAZING

Johna_H, Apr 2026
The company description of the physical part of this tour is spot on. The hot chocolate and doughnuts at the first stop is a must (look for the little robin). We wish we had explored Fort Augustus rather than take the Loch Ness water tour. So glad that we went with the small group tour. Jeff with a G was wealth of information, very informative, conversational and flexible. Favorite part was the stop at the three sisters and enjoying the scenic drive. Would definitely recommend and if given the option would choose Geff again!

Loved loved loved this tour! Our guide was Aisla and she was fantastic! Extremely knowledgeable, incredibly friendly and just super dedicated to making sure we all had the best experience. We had 8 passengers on our tour total, so super small and very personal feeling. Aisla answered all our questions, gave us lots of info and just made it even more interesting than the sights themselves. Our first stop at Hermitage Falls was just gorgeous. It was a bit muddy but the walk along the trail was beautiful and easy and the views from the end were breathtaking. Perfect photo spot. Oh, and if the donut truck is there....get donuts!!! Extra little perk! Second stop was the distillery. My husband and I shared a Hot Toddy and a Whisky Sour and both were super tasty. Nice little resting spot to stretch and enjoy a snack. Lochness was really cool. The lore behind it made it fun. I honestly could have done without the added river tour. We all think maybe it would have been more fun in the summer when more animals were around. It was still a nice place to enjoy our lunch and the little town was quaint and charming. Before heading to Glencoe, Aisla suggested another great photo stop, at a little white cottage in the mountains. It was just a simple little house but the backdrop was gorgeous with a flowing waterfall and the gigantic mountains behind it. From there we hit the mountains at Glencoe. WOW. No words. Just WOW. I can't describe how beautiful they are and how small they make you feel. Incredible. Dinner at the fish and chips restaurant was tasty. The fish was super flaky and not too greasy. Chips were tasty. We also got the onion rings, which were huge and definitely a shareable side. We took home a whole to-go box full. Our last little stop to see the Highland cows was sweet. Honey (the brown one) came right to us when she heard our guides voice. She clearly recognized her and it made for some extra special close up photos. If you are planning a trip to Scotland I would 1000% recommend this tour. If you have an option for a small group (I know they are expanding into medium sized groups) opt for that because it made it feel so personal and we really enjoyed meeting our fellow tourists and chatting one on one with Aisla and everyone. If we ever come back we will definitely be booking another tour with them! Thank you for making our trip so special!

The perfect tour!

It’s quite windy so layer up. This was an outstanding tour, and our guide Aila was amazing! Lives every bit of this trip and would highly recommend

Great day tour of Scottish Highlands.

Christine_F, Dec 2025
We only had a short time in Scotland and this tour was perfect for us. We wanted to see the Scottish highlands and this tour well and truly covered it all. We loved every minute. Our tour guide Pete was very knowledgeable and good humoured.

Super road Trip! You see a lot in just one Day. Thank you to our exceptional tour guide/driver/entertainer Perry.

Cameron was an amazing guide!

Aleksandra_K, Oct 2025
Cameron was so lovely and funny. He was such an amazing person to hang out with for the day. He told us the history of Scotland, and was so patient with us. Cameron genuinely cared about our experience and ensured we had an amazing day!

Loch Ness Cruise scenic walk whisky & Glencoe tour

john_c, Oct 2025
It's a big day out. We had Cameron as our driver, guide, encyclopedia. It was a fun day out with Cameron. We had a nice group of 7 on our bus and we all had a fun day. Saw lots. Enjoyed the experiences. Nessy was on holidays so we did not spot her on the cruise on the lake. That was also a fine trip.

Great trip

Natasha_D, Sep 2025
Great trip. Long day - but goes past quickly with frequent stops. Interesting information about highlands

A full day of Scotland’s finest!

Adam_L, Sep 2025
We had a lovely day on the tour. So many highlights seeing some absolutely stunning sights. The small tour size was lovely and our guide, Cameron (who was knowledgeable, kind, and fun) made sure the day was maximized. What a fantastic experience!

Wonderful Day Tour!!

Emily_V, Sep 2025
We had a magnificent day! Richie, our guide and driver, was upbeat, informative, funny and very entertaining. He drove us all around the beautiful Highlands while keeping us abreast of relevant Scottish history. Our van was comfortable and we felt safe. It was an excellent experience. I would absolutely recommend this company and Richie to anyone looking to learn more about Scotland.

Fantastic Tour And Guide

Bryan_L, Aug 2025
Daniel was a wonderful guide and host for the day. He was very informative and a terrific person. He made my whole family feel comfortable and at home immediately. The tour through the countryside was a great day - filled with things to do and places to see. It was a long but extremely rewarding day. I don't know how we could have seen more. Thank you so much. I highly recommend Daniel if you want to have a memorable tour!

The tour had potential but missed its mark. The first stop was nice but the second stop at the distillery was a waste of time. There is no tour and you have to pay anywhere between $20-40 pounds for the flights. The best part of the tour was the Loch Ness but you need to pay an additional $20 but it was worth it if you want to learn about Nessie. The three sisters and the Shetland cow were nice but for the amount of money paid was not worth it. The tour guide was nice but kind of aloof. The castle they filmed Monty python was on the way home but closed would have been nice to stop there he could have driven by it but we passed it like a blur and could barely see it through the trees. All in all your better off renting a car and doing it all yourself

Fantastic Day!

Nicole_S, Aug 2025
Long day but worth it! The scenery is indescribable & we would have never been able to see everything in one day without the benefit of the tour. Cameron was a great & accommodating guide. The family had a wonderful time & made memories that will last a lifetime

Richie is phenomenal!

Elise_A, Jul 2025
Richie as our Scotland's Wild tour guide was the most fantastic experience ever. My husband and I did the 1-day Loch Ness/Hermitage/Glen Coe tour. What a kind man and amazing human. Please promote him, pay him more, give him whatever whiskys he wants, as he deserves the world. Also, the small van is a more more enjoyable experience than the large 40+ buses from another tour company we did, so that is a major sustain. Please book Scotland's Wild - this was everything we could ask for in a tour.

Nice.

Brian_L, Jul 2025
8PAX van is a little tight. The views do not disappoint. Our guide Cameron hustled his butt off to make this a great day.
