John and the Go Tours team were absolutely brilliant. John is a true tour guide, knowledgeable, personable, and incredibly professional. Despite only having 2 participants out of 16, the tour continued as scheduled, which we truly appreciated. The vehicle was clean, modern, and safe. We spent a wonderful 9 hours exploring and learning, and the experience exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend!

A great day that absolutely delivered on what the tour promised. We loved our time in St Andrews and the whiskey experience was excellent. Jenny was great. knowledgeable and friendly and looked after us extremely well.

Tour was amazing and loved John, he was full of so much knowledge! Loved all the stops but? Would have preferred to stay in St. Andrews for 3 hours not 2.

Small group of 5 which was fabulous. Left on time, driver was very talkative and knowledgeable..however could not hear alot of what she said not using a microphone.. Stops were great and St. Andrews was all I thought it would be! The whisky tasting was just ok and too long but the Abby there was worth it. As a day it was fantastic and would take another tour if back in Scotland..

It wis brilliant, so it wis. The lad that ran it kent his stuff, fair play. We had a guid blether, and the banter wis top-notch. Would dae it again in a heartbeat....
Actually, we're from Florida and would say that John was an excellent, well-informed, humourous guide/driver. We made several interesting stops on the tour and were armed with useful info from John before each stop. A thoroughly enjoyable day!

What a fun day with John!
We were thrilled to see that we would spend our day in a 12 passenger van, rather than on a large bus. There were just 8 in our group , and the stops were perfect. John’s knowledge about the history of the anrea and each of our stops was wonderful and the fun he added with music kept us all engaged and entertained. We appreciated the personal touch he added after learning about his passengers as well.
The stops were well timed, allowing just enough time at each of our locations.
The whiskey tour during the return journey was family friendly & very interesting. The location and surrounding Abbey were stunning as well.
Thanks, John, for a really enjoyable time!
Oh! And thanks for the Scottish strawberry tip! Delicious!

We had a great day touring with John through some of east Scotland’s most historic and picturesque locations a short drive from Edinburgh. Our two couples traveling together particularly enjoyed the intimate group size which allowed for a relaxed pace, easy conversation, and personal attention from John. The itinerary was well designed with short drives along scenic roads with just enough time at each stop. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for a relaxed, engaging day trip from Edinburgh.
