Awesome tour with Emery! She greeted us in a Philadelphia Eagles hat (go Birds!), so I knew it was going to be a great day :).
Emery was very knowledgeable about Edinburgh and its history, and you can tell has a real passion for the city. Her narration and explanations were all very detailed, and her personality really made the tour fun.
As for the locations and food itself, I enjoyed everything. The venues were all high quality with really interesting and authentic foods. The tour length of three hours was perfect (especially in hilly Edinburgh), and I highly recommend it.

Come with an empty stomach! Wonderful experience of history weaved with traditional food. Emery was a delight and was super helpful with recommendations for shopping and sightseeing.

This is a walking tour where you get to enjoy local Scottish cuisine from independent restaurants. It was so much fun and I highly recommend it. We loved learning about Fringe from Luanne and observing the street performers.

Our group was a small group but we had so much fun! We were able to talk to each other and get to know each other (our tour guide never rushed us just so she could speak to us about our tour). It was GREAT! We went to places we wouldn't have found on our own.

What a terrific walking and food tour we had with our guide, Luanna, on the Edinburgh Old Town Food and Drinks tour. The guide was very knowledgeable about the history and culture of the city. Ailse was a WONDERFUL teacher, guide, companion, and friend for several hours. I was solo on this tour, and she still kindly did the tour for me as I could not change the date. I learned so much about Edinburgh's history, life in Scotland, food and cooking! Thank you for a great afternoon! Food choices were very good.

This tour was so much fun! My wife and I looked at each other after it and said this was the highlight of our visit to Edinburgh. In the tour you get so much history about the city and so many great stories and see so much of the city. And come hungry because the food equals up to a large meal as you go through all the different stops. Our tour guide Luana was spectacular! She is from Edinburgh and gave us so much information that we felt like locals as we were walking with her through the city as she was pointing out sites and shops and historical places and everything in between. This is such a great way to experience the cuisine of another country. Do yourself a favor and your tummy a favor and sign up for this tour. You will absolutely love it.

Great little tour of historical businesses with local favorite food and drinks. We loved the Scotch eggs, meat pie and doughnuts! It was our first stop in Edinburgh, so it introduced us to not only the local cuisine, but also the area including several closes and streets I’m sure we would’ve missed on our own. Ailsa was friendly, fun and knowledgeable. Our group enjoyed our 3 hours and would recommend this tour for future travelers.
