The Little Museum of Dublin is a must! Evan and staff make Dublin history come alive. There is not one boring moment. My 13 year old grandson and 18 year old granddaughter were enthralled. Evan is the consummate tour guide and entertainer - witty, inclusive, funny and knowledgeable, with Dublin history at his fingertips. And, he sings. It was an amazing experience.

George was fantastic, light and engaging! The displays are informative and the presentation is informative while entertaining.

The guides are terrific and have great knowledge. Their storytelling is wonderful, theatrical but down to earth. .

Very good fun and very informative.
Lasts just the right amount of time. Very professional and welcoming.

Tour guide was super fun and knowledgeable! Museum was very interesting and gave a brief, but informative overview of Dublin’s history. Perfect!

We loved the energy and enthusiasm of this rapid fire overview of the history of Dublin. Best historical overview of a city in 30 minutes that I’ve ever heard. Our guide Saul was inclusive, educational, informative - and as a surprise - finished with some stylish Irish dancing.

Takes about 50 minutes. Very funny and informative. I know a fair amount of Irish History, but it was a great grounding start to my couple of days in Dublin.

This is a super fast, super chill fun little museum. You book a tour time, but come early and you can explore a few more of their other rooms with artifacts. A actor of sorts is your docent and entertains you by telling you the history of Dublin in a fun entertaining way. We had George and he was really into it and made it enjoyable.

What a great way to learn the history of Dublin in such a short period of time. Lots to see and learn from the guide and the exhibits. Highly recommend. Forget the lady giving the history’s name, I believe Alex? But she was lovely.

We did this tour on our 2nd day in Ireland and it was perfect. So much fun and so much history. Emma was our guide and she was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Everyone was so friendly and kind. Honestly, before the tour we weren't sure if we were going to love this trip. After the tour, we were invigorated to do and learn more. You have to do this tour!!

There are probably better ways of finding out about the history of Dublin, but this was ok. Our guide, George was amiable enough, but at times it felt as if he was auditioning for the comedy club and all the jokes felt a little over rehearsed. I also don’t know why five minutes was wasted on finding out where everyone came from. However, it was interesting enough but there are probably better museums.

Book online in advance. A great experience. Learn all about the history of Dublin condensed into less than 1 hour. All the tour guides were excellent and if you are lucky, George will be there to show you around this wonderful Georgian house when you visit

Super fun, very engaging, a must do when visiting Dublin or even if you're a Dub. Great staff. Loved the Dolls House and the U2 room.

Emma was absolutely incredible! She brought so much fun to the information and made it so enjoyable.

incredible tour! Cal is amazing and super funny! Job was also a delight. Will recommend to everyone!

This was shown as a “shore excursion” activity. But there was no transportation from the dock and no instructions about taking the DART into Dublin and the LONG walk to the venue. The museum tour was just dandy. But it is not a shore excursion if you are coming i to Ireland from a cruise ship

Pauline and Emma gave a great tour of Dublins history in less than 30 minutes! It was informative, funny and interesting. Loved all the trivia in the rooms from decades past. Thank you!
Julie_G, Apr 2026
The tour was fun and lively. Our guide Saul has a bit of a theatrical flair which kept me enthralled as he told us interesting stories from Irish history.

Great family experience. Informative and funny. Shout out to all the staff, especially Cal! Would recommend to all!

There are other better places to see; frankly a waste of time. It was all over the place, too many oeople jammed pack in the tour group. Tiny soace you couldn’t move around to look. Guide was delightful and samg at the end, but couldn’t salvage it.
Greg_L, Apr 2026
It was like a performance more than anything. Our guide was great and could be in a play. The museum did have a lot of unique items. Prob worth a stop for just 45mins
Scott_M, Mar 2026
Worth the time and cost without exceptions. George was our guide and was entertaining and knowledgeable. Really loved our time at this museum. Such a great experience.
Deborah_W, Feb 2026
We booked online, we were offered lockers for our bags on arriving so we could walk round , we learnt a lot about Dublins history through the ages with some politics and bad groaning dad jokes, but Emma our tour guide was an amazing actress and kept everyone engrossed and included, ending with a lovely song, a very talented lady .
Louise_C, Feb 2026
Very informative..with humour...from the lovely George...all staff so friendly...good value for money too
Maria_D, Nov 2025
This was a fabulous tour. Our tour guide, George, was knowledgeable and very funny. Highly recommend!

My husband and I chose to visit on a whim without reading anything about the museum, so we had no idea what to expect but nothing could have prepared us for this experience. It was nothing short of fantastic! This museum is unlike any I have ever visited in my life.
It is an extensive collection of fascinating items and objects in a surprisingly small but appropriate space. There is so much to take in and you could spend hours just looking at all the items.
Your visit to the museum luckily is guided by an incredibly talented storyteller. Our guide Emma was hilarious and gave not just a tour, but a genuinely enthralling performance. She was absolutely phenomenal and this little museum is one that would be a big mistake to miss.
