A lot of information to learn about the famine Irish history! The museum felt like a pop-up though…upstairs in a mall and self guided by walking around the room reading posters. The only AV component was a 15min video. If you or your family doesn’t like reading this is not the experience for you.

Thank you for your visit and review. Note that this is a pop-up which ends in September. We try to limit text as much as possible and include many 19th century photos, an original soup pot, and newspapers.

Interesting exhibit. Environment was not climate controlled so it was too warm in the area in which the film was seen.

quick self guided temporary exhibition that highlighted the various poor political decisions and slow disaster response to an agricultural crisis

Realizing how inept the British Government and landowners were to the plight of the Irish people in general.
eg. .. spending twice as much money on the military personnel in Ireland to quell any potential’complaints’ as they did in aiding starving Irish throughout the years of famine.

History of Ireland! Great exhibition and experience. I learn a lot. Now I understand what was a reason for emigrations, 5 million Ireland people were thrown out from the island!!

A great exhibit that shares what the famine was like for people and country. Don’t miss it! It transports you back in time to fully understand the famines impact

Very affecting little museum/exhibition. I knew most of the details,my son didn't and left in a mess of emotions and rage at the treatment of our ancestors
It's very important to see a d experience. Please take the time to visit.

This museum told the story in simple facts. We learned a great deal, enjoyed ourselves as we watched a short film, and the staff were very helpful.

A complete and very interesting exhibition. it also makes us think in relation to what happened with the covid and what is happening with the wheat ...
