It was an excellent excursion. Informative and fun! The guide was both knowledgeable and engaging! It was a memorable day!

Beautiful!

Beautiful place with great employees.the horses of course are magnificent. We had a nice walk around the stud. I was able to feed one a peppermint! Would have been nice to see some of the stallions up close but they were all out in their paddocks. Also the headphones/ tablet in the Irish Racehorse experience did not work right.

Easy 1/2 day experience

Nice 1/2 day experience. Went early in off season so no crowds. garden is amazing perennials and annuals were sprouting so did not experience the colors , loved the stream beds and their transitions . Stairs might be difficult for the mobility impaired but there is plenty of to see and experience 2 foals had been born that night so that was enjoyable, the numerous young foals in the paddocks were refreshing, freedom to move around the paddocks and the foals was reminiscent of earlier times The horse racing experience was educational Great times

Irish Stud Farm

A good day out if horses or horse racing is your interest. Set on some beautiful grounds which are immaculately kept. The Japanese garden is also stunning. Great, friendly and very helpful staff.

A tour Supreme

This is a must do fun and educational tour in a beautiful area.. The young man who led the tour round the stud farm was very knowledgeable and engaging. People travelling by public transport from the train station in Kildare should note there is no bus to the Stud which is about a three mile walk. However we got a taxi for €13 driven by an professional jockey Declan Shea who was excellent.. We would highly recommend this tour make sure you do all three activities, The Stud Farm Tour, The Race Horse Experience and the Japenese Gardens which are stunning all for €16s , a bargain.
