The Guide needs to retire

Very sweet gentleman driver who did not give any history during tour. Minimal instructions given when we reached a site. He spoke to first few rows on bus despite asking him to speak louder.

A Beautiful Yet Frustrating Day

Our tour guide David was very kind & pleasant. We saw the beautiful countryside & sites we couldn't have done on our own in one day. However our 8 hour tour turned into a 6 hour tour because we waited over 2 hours for all passengers from the cruise to arrive. We were a few minutes late for the tour ourselves but were the first ones to arrive. Tenders were running slow due to winds but continued to arrive slowly. I understand waiting longer than usual but two hours is excessive. Was disappointed for sure. Would definitely not book with Your Shore Time in a tender port. We've taken other tours with this tour operator with no problems but in tender ports you have to rely on other passengers to get up early enough to get an early tender. The tour indicates "Time permitting, we return through Dublin city passing key places of interest" but guessing this ever happens if they have relaxed start times. Another thing I should mention is David was both the driver & tour guide. And evidently drivers in Ireland can't use a microphone (or talk?) while driving, therefore, there was no commentary throughout tour. David would have to pull over occasionally to tell us what we were seeing or had seen. Would have liked more commentary on this small group tour. Maybe on the larger bus they'd have a tour guide who wasn't the driver.
