We arrange pick up/ drop off for all resorts in the area of Punta Cana, Cap Cana, Bavaro, Macao. We pick up from the lobby of the resort at 7:30 AM. Please confirm room number after check in. (Exept hotels: Bahia Principe, Paradisus, Melia, Royalton, Occidental, Majestic, Catalonia, Barcelo , Riu, From those hotels we pick up from the main security gate).

We were scheduled to go fish when the waters weren’t safe, we were notified with plenty of time and were even able to reschedule for a calmer day. We were picked up on time, and no issues getting to the boat. We were promptly on our way, while our kiddo got sick and we had to turn back earlier than we planned the captain and first mate were understanding and got us back safely. We did manage to catch a fish while we were out, too!

Amazing experience. Very professional and hard working captain and first mate. Only thing we wish we knew was how expensive the restaurant was where we got our fish cooked. Jellyfin charged us $25 per person (4 people) to cook the 1 fileted mahi mahi.

Unfortunately the trip was cancelled when we showed up at boat. Said his motor was messed up. I would have thought he would have found a fellow fisherman or the company would have found us another charter. But nope it was just a sorry it’s cancelled.

Hello Carrie_D and thanks for the time you spent on the review. Fishing was canceled due to the second engine trying to stall when adding rpm. The injectors were not injecting properly into the cylinders. Water was getting into the fuel system because the separator was filled with low quality fuel. We are in the Dominican Republic and this can happen a few times a year. Every boat has two diesel engines. And they're supposed to run. Every motor yacht is like your car but with two engines. It can happen to your car, it can break down at any time. For example, you try to start the engine and the battery is dead. The same thing can happen to you at any time. And we don't use the latest secret nanotechnology. The captain could go inshore along the beach for couple miles or snorkel with one engine. But not on the open ocean. We always have your safety in mind. I couldn't offer you anything because in a similar company all the boats were occupied. And in another company the boats were so ugly that my conscience could not offer you anything. I am very sorry that the train was canceled, and I apologize to you from the bottom of my heart. We were taken deep sea fishing on 6-8 foot swells. We felt completely safe the entire time. We only caught 4 fish but Eddy worked his a$$ off to get the fish on and in the boat. He was a joy to work with. If I go back to Punta Cana, I will definitely be calling Big Marlin again for a great experience!

Had a fantastic day! Did t think we were goi g to catch anything then out of nowhere we caught a 300 lb blue Marlon, was tremendous 😃 guys on boat looked after us well and we had the best day. Will definitely be back to try and catch something f bigger next time!!🤣🤣
