It’s a very long day. Bring plenty of water and snacks. Being there to see the mountain in person is worth the long drive.

Good check in before trip and responsive, guide didn’t realize we needed pick up from hotel lobby on the morning of travel but clarified quickly and no delay caused. Experience was fun and as promised, ride from Cusco is far but that is to be expected for this special day experience. Amazing view and fun with ATVs.

We were supposed to be picked up at our hotel but they sent a message at 1:20 in the morning telling us to go to a pick up point. Information about the trip and what to bring were also included. The change in pickup was not too bad because it was only a block away but how were we to find a bandana before leaving. All information should be provided 24 hours in advance.
The van they used for a trip of 7 hours round trip is way too small. No leg room and very narrow seats.

Just be ready for a lot of hours in the van. Wasn’t fully prepared for nearly 8 hours of that.

What a day! We had sun, snow, rain, and fog—all in one trip. The weather wasn’t perfect, but the views and experience still made it absolutely worth it. Just keep in mind that there are many hours in the van—almost 8 in total—so come prepared for a long ride. Even with the unexpected conditions, seeing Rainbow Mountain by ATV was a memorable and unique adventure I’d recommend to anyone visiting Cusco.

Excellent option to visit Rainbow Mountain if you have travellers who can’t hike for long periods of time. This has always been on my bucket list. I had my 7 year old with me and we did a long trek the day before. She wasn’t having it, back to back hikes. The breakfast and lunch provided were excellent. If you don’t want to hike this is an excellent option!

Rainbow Mountain had always been on my bucket list. I was traveling with my 7-year-old daughter, and after doing a long trek the day before, there was no way we could do another one right away. This ATV experience was the perfect solution. The scenery was absolutely stunning, and we didn’t have to hike much at all. My daughter had a great time, and the ride felt safe and exciting. The breakfast and lunch provided were also delicious. If you’re in Cusco and want to see Rainbow Mountain without the intense hike—especially if you’re with kids—this is the best way to do it!

This was a great tour but the weather, unfortunately, didn't cooperate. It started out fantastic with an easy pick up and beautiful drive through the countryside! The moment we got to the base of Rainbow Mountain, however, the weather took a dramatic turn and began sleeting and snowing on us as we rode the atv's up. The guide was incredibly accommodating and helped to try and keep us warm but we just didn't prepare for snow! I would definitely recommend this tour, but make sure you are prepared with extra clothes and lots of layers!

Chaski (tour organizer) and his partner literally nursed me back to health when I was unable to go on the tour due to altitude sickness. I have never experienced that level of kindness and concern from total strangers. Fortunately, my friend was able to go as he didn't get sick and said the atv ride is super fun, the journey is gorgeous, and the altitude is no joke so be sure you're acclimated to Cusco before going. The guide was friendly and the food was tasty with lots of options. 5 out of 5 would recommend.
