Overall, the tour is good, and the guide was knowledgeable with good English. I’m sorry I just don’t do livestock on vacation. Visit to the llamas although culturally important was not warranted and more of a sales tactic to purchase garments with a clear trailing commission back to the operator.

Good tour - bring Peruvian cash

Interesting tour about the history of Inca central leadership and culture. Specific perspective given by our guide Americo. He was super nice and very smart - has specific views and theories about Incan history and culture. I would point out that while this tour description does indicate that entry fees are not included, it does not say 1. The exact cost of entry fees and 2. You can only pay in Peruvian cash - Not card, not Apple/Google Pay not foreign currency. For our tour (September 2025) it was 90 Peruvian soles per person. We learned that via WhatsApp just a few minutes before the tour (we made the booking only 2 hours prior). We had to run out and do currency exchange.
