It is important to note that some hotels are located in areas where vehicle access is not permitted. To ensure the pickup is as organized as possible, we kindly ask for the details of your hotel. Our tour starts with a pickup from your hotel early in the morning at 5:30 a.m. Then, our company transport will take us to the train station in Ollantaytambo. From there, we will board the train to the town of Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu), arriving at approximately 9:30 a.m. Next, we will take the bus to the Machu Picchu archaeological site, where we will enjoy a guided tour of over 2 hours with a professional guide, visiting the most important areas. We will have enough time to take photos and enjoy this world wonder. After the tour, we will take the transport back to the town of Aguas Calientes. Then, we will board the return train to Ollantaytambo station, where our transport will be waiting with our names to take us back to the city of Cusco, dropping us off at the hotel.

We just came back for our trip. Everything was perfect and smooth since the moment we were picked up at our hotel until the drop off
When we arrived to Aguas Calientes, Miguel our tour guide Miguel was waiting for us. Miguel was amazing. He was very knowledgeable, super nice, patient and an excellent photographer.
He explained everything about the beautiful Machu Picchu and made us feel entertained. We really enjoyed and recommend this trip.

This tour is a total lie. First and foremost, this is NOT a private tour for “your group.” This is a van of 12 people. There is NOT a professional guide with you at all times. Most of the trip you are are your own to make it from bus to train to bus. They will not help you whatsoever if you become ill or hurt. In fact they lied to us about being able to help us when I told them I was ill. They could have cared less about their passengers. Please please do not book with them.

We’d like to clarify that while our groups to Machu Picchu are intentionally kept small to ensure a more personalized experience, there are certain aspects of the tour, such as buses and trains, that are part of monopolies and cannot be modified or altered. Unfortunately, these services are out of our control, and we understand how frustrating that can be, especially when you were feeling unwell.
We were aware that you weren’t feeling well and wanted to return to Cusco earlier. We sincerely wish we could have done more to accommodate you, but as mentioned, the train company does not allow changes to schedules. Our guide stayed with you until the very last stop, and it was never our intention to make you feel unsupported or as though we were lying. We always try to go above and beyond to help our guests, but we must respect the rules set by these monopolistic services.
We are genuinely sorry for the inconvenience you experienced and hope you can understand that we did everything within our power to assist you while still respecting the established guidelines.

The best part of this tour was the guide, Miguel Angel. He was informative, and kind. However, really dissapointed this tour did not state what circuit you pay for. We ended up doing circuit 1 which does not give you access to rhe main site. It ia super important to provide info on what circuit you are paying for, so that you may make an informed decision.

We got a thorough briefing at the start of the day from Rony about how it would all work which was great. Someone waiting for us at every point to take us to the next. Roy our guide inside the site was incredibly knowledgeable and brought the place to life. There was a problem with our return train tickets that the team was able to promptly address and fix. The team had very good customer service.

Amazing day trip to Machu Picchu!
All logistics with transportation went smoothly - connecting car, minibus, train and another minibus. Even though I was staying outside of downtown Cusco, I was collected exactly on time and dropped off back at my accommodation late in the evening.
It was nice that the journey there was broken up with a stop at Mirador Racchi and a chance to get food at Aguas Calientes.
My guide Roy was brilliant - he was very informative, interesting and made every effort to ensure that each person in the group got great photos to capture their visit.
The tour of the site lasted around 2.5hrs. The company pushed back out start time slightly to allow a better chance of clouds clearing, as it was rainy season, and the views were stunning - with no cloud cover during the tour.
It’s a long day so bring snacks and water - and most importantly your passport, as this is needed to gain access to the site.

What a trip! It’s no secret that it’s a journey to get here, but we were thankful that the journey was planned for us. We did have to get up much earlier due to new regulations forcing timed entry at the park but that did allow us to skip lines. The van on the way there is not easy to sleep in but the train was a bit easier. Our guide Roy was THE BEST. He really provided so much-appreciated context and information that helped us learn about the wonder. They purchased two different circuits for us, so we had plenty of points of view. Roy was also an amazing photographer and left plenty of time for photos and was sensitive to any slower people in the group. He was the best part though because the rest of the logistics like transportation felt a bit chaotic at times. Such as leading us to lunch and saying someone would pick us up to go to the train station when they never did. We figured it out pretty easily though. Overall we’re so glad we booked this to make the adventure less stressful. We did bring backpacks since you carry your things the whole time and the weather began at 40F in the morning to 75 (feels stronger) in the afternoon.

Scenic train trip following fast flowing river to Machu Picchu. Snack included which was very nice. Guide met us at station and he was excellent ( Miguel ). He took us on route 1 which was a 30 minute climb to the top of the site. Plenty stops and beautiful view at top. Good information and interest visit to different parts of the amazing site.

Had an incredible experience with Roy at MP on this trip. We were 10 friends who all went together to MP through this tour group. Everything was organized very well and we felt everything was safe, organized, and comfortable the whole way. Our tour guide in the park, Roy, was incredibly knowledgable and had a great personality. We all wished we could have him with us for our whole trip in Peru! We were happy he shared a beer and meal with us afterwards as we tried some Cuy at his recommendation. An incredible trip that was the highlight of our time in Peru. Will hope to return have Roy lead us back to MP on a hike next time.

The tour was flawlessly planned and well organized. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Machu Picchu itself is breathtaking. The train ride was also a highlight. Book the Vistadome because it's worth the extra cost!

We paid $350 for a tour of Machu Pichu with a tour guide. We did not have one set tour guide the entire trip but instead were dumped off at the train station by one guide, to have to find the next guide in the town. That guide showed up without our bus or Machu Pichu entrance tickets and had to scrcamble to get them sent via phone. That guide put another client in our group in charge of all of our bus and entrance tickets. A paying client had to takke charge because the company didn't! We got to Machu Pichu and again had to find our next tour guide. That guide stayed with us and rode back to town with us, only to try and pawn us off at some bad restaurant for lunch because he would get a kick back. When we all refused to eat there, his entire attitude changed and he became very angry. He made us go to the train station early so he could dump us off and leave. I will never book through Viator again.

Machu Picchu full day excursion was a wonderful experience. We were picked up by our driver at 6:40 AM and driven to the train station. We took the luxury train, we enjoyed it (you are provided an extra snack/drink) but if you are looking to save, the other train is attached and virtually the same. From the train we took the bus to the top where we were met by our guide Miguel. He was friendly, informative, and excellent at helping take pictures. He answered several of our questions and brought us back to the train at the end of our trip.

All was organized well and our guide Miguel was excellent. The Machu Picchu tour for the 3 hrs was nice and he was very knowledgeable. The car service, train ride and bus service were great too. The only thing is we didn't have a guide from hotel until the train ride end and a little confusion was there as we didn't speak Spanish, but on reaching out to the tour operator, all worked out well. It was a long tour but worth it!

The tour was very good. One constructive criticism of the tour was the tour guide Roy, spent a extraordinary amount of time giving us information about the bricks/rocks used to build the buildings. He was redundant. Also, the handoff between the different people involved with transporting us to Machu Picchu could’ve been better. We still thought the tour was very good.

It was very well organised.They picked us from the hotel & dropped us back to the hotel.I wish we had more information on the transport as the train was from olleyantetambo rather than Cusco.We were told on the day that we have to travel till the train station in the bus for 2hrs as the Cusco station was under maintenance till December.This was not mentioned on the website.
We were met by Roy at Aquosallentous station & he was our tour guide in Machu pichu.He was very good & I highly recommend him.
We spent about 3hrs in Machu pichu & thoroughly enjoyed it.

We loved our tour! It was very convenient considering it takes quite a bit to get to Machu Picchu. We received the itinerary the night before the trip, I recommend following up with your guides to get the info sooner. We were picked up at 7 in a nice shuttle with air conditioning. We then were taken to the train station. We were on the Peru rail. The trip was nice, the staff were friendly and the train was clean. They provided snacks and drinks (free and for sale). After the train ride we met up with Juan Carlos and Veronica, our guides, who were really friendly. They made sure we got on the bus and guided us through the process which can get hectic. They were able to get us on the bus an hour before our reservation bc it was slow season. Miguel was our guide through Machu Picchu. He was very knowledge, friendly and overall an amazing guide. We had plenty of time for the tour and a ton of pictures. We took our time going through MP and had an hour left for dinner. They took us directly to a restaurant which had great food and provided quick service. On the way back the train staff did a fashion show which was a highlight of the trip. We were then picked up by Mariano our driver and dropped back off at our airbnb. Overall he highly recommend this service bc every part is planned. The convenience was great.
