This tour was a mess. The day before, the operator contacted us saying they could not pick us up at our hotel and we needed to meet them in Cusco. Our hotel was about 20 minutes from Maras and Cusco is 90 mins away so this made no sense. I clearly marked our hotel at time of booking. I pushed back and they finally agreed to pick us up at the hotel. The return to the hotel after the tour was also a mess. There was a police stop and we were told that the driver didn’t have the right paperwork and would get fined if stopped by police so we had to get an uber from the side of the road. Our tour guide was great but didn’t make up for all of the frustrating for this booking.

Good scenery with rich history

We changed our original plan, and booked this package at the last minute, and we think this is the best decision we made. Our tour guide Sutta has great knowledge, he provided us a very informational day trip. We have much better understanding on Inca empire. Plus, the scenery along the route are so amazing, Sutta is also a good photographer, he helped us take many nice pictures. We really enjoyed the whole trip

This rating is based on the quality of the tour/services and not the locations visited. No AC in the car on a hot day. It appeared that the guide lacked experience or didn’t care.
