This was a really great ride on Peruvian Paso horses to Inkan ruins. Gabriel was a wonderful host, full of information, and it was clear that he cares a lot about his horses. Safety was also priority here. I would highly recommend for any level of skill rider.

Gabriel is the real deal - his ranch has been in his family over 100 years and has bred and trained Peruvian Pasos that are calm, strong, gaited, and beautiful. His horses are well-loved and cared for and enjoy getting out for a ride. Gabriel is extremely knowledgeable about Inka and Peruvian history and culture, and the tour is both informative and fascinating. For anyone thinking about going for a ride near Cusco, I definitely recommend Gabriel's ranch. We had a fabulous day.

Absolutely AMAZING experience at Gabriel’s ranch, I couldn’t recommend it more. 100% commitment to both animal welfare and customer experience, the horses are very well taken care of and Gabriel proved to be a phenomenal local guide. Worth noting many alternative tour providers keep their horses saddled and tethered all day in the sun (!) so I highly recommend going with Gabriel’s ranch to guarantee you support the most ethical local business

Gabriel was a fantastic tour guide and shared so much information about the Incan culture and traditions with us. His horses are well cared for and well trained. They were great with my kids and even walked the entire way with my 11 year old to make sure she was safe. My teenage son said this was his favorite part of our week long stay in Peru. This is a definite must do with kids while in Cusco!

Gabriel and Sergio were very kind and Knowledgeable. They were very professional and provided great snacks and the entire experience was amazing! Loved how we learned so much about culture. We were a family of 8 with a range of skills for horseback riding. Our trip was wonderful. Our hosts were so pleasant and made sure we were very comfortable on the horses they chose for us. The ride was at a good pace and scenic, with a stop at some ruins. Snacks were provided. Pick-up and drop-off at our hotel made planning very easy. It was an absolutely wonderful morning. In addition, while planning our trip to Peru, I needed to contact our hosts on a few occasions. Response were quick and helpful. I strongly recommend this tour- you will not be disappointed.

We enjoyed the short ride and educational experience. Wish there was more to ride and see however it’s only a short loop. Some horses are much more well taken care of than others.

I surprised my husband with this horseback-riding tour for his birthday and we had a wonderful time. Our guide, Gabriel was kind and very knowledgeable, the scenery and mountains were spectacular, and the horses were also very beautiful. We also loved stopping the at Temple of the Moon towards the end of the trip and hearing about the history of the place. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a little adventure around the mountains of Cusco.

It was a great experience :) Gabriel was really nice, he picked me up at my hostel and then we drove to his ranch. Before we start riding he gave me some snacks and a helmet. So we started our riding tour on his super nice horses. We has several stops and Gabriel told me about the history of the temples and places! The horses are well treated and part or his family. They only got sattler for a ride, not the whole day like most of the other horses there.

This was my favorite thing I have done in Cusco by far! Gabriel was so knowledgeable about the land, the horses and everything. We wanted to make sure to book with a company that cares for the horses and doesn’t exploit them and you can tell Gabriel really cares for the horses. Seeing the temple of the moon was my favorite part, we got to go in an underground tunnel also which was very cool! Definitely a unique experience and great to get away from all the crowds in Cusco. Also I booked this the night before we were supposed to go and it was no problem at all which was really great because most places require you to book more in advance. Would recommend this to anyone coming to Cusco!

This is my second review don’t know what happen to the first one. But anyway, had an amazing ride, very unforgettable! I was given an energetic horse which was compatible to my riding skill level,;was absolutely enjoyable! I only wish I had extra day or so to do more riding but unfortunately not! I rode solo with the owner and you could really tell he loves horses! I highly recommend Gabriel Horse Riding Ranch, have self confidence and enjoy the beauty of Cuzco Mountains and its history! Have fun!

Best part of our stay in Cusco! We were the only 2 people on our tour. Pickup and drop-off were right on time (even though I just changed from afternoon to morning the day before). Gabriel was so friendly and answered all of our questions. We aren’t experienced horse-riders, but we had no trouble. The horses were very well-behaved and followed Gabriel closely. I didn’t even have to use my reins most of the time! The ranch is huge and gorgeous. Great views of the city and private visit to the Moon Temple. Definitely book this tour!

Best tour service I had in all of Cusco

Gabriel came to my rescue after another tour company cancelled my booking the day of the tour itself and left me without any activities and basically stranded in Cusco. He was incredibly kind with me and was SO flexible and accommodating, which was such a nice surprise. I booked the tour that morning at 10AM and by 1PM, Gabriel was at my airbnb waiting to take me on a tour. He was nice enough to wait for me for a few extra minutes as my airbnb was hard to find and i had to climb down a bunch of stairs to get to him on the street. I had the BEST time on this tour!! The horse I had (Waykie), was the sweetest horse, he gave me snuggles and was overall just a sweetheart. Gabriel also let us trot and we even got to bring the horses up to a fast jog which was a lot of fun! You could tell he really loved his horses, they were all well taken care of which was really important to me. He answered all of my questions and let me guide the tour, making stops in locations that were interesting to me and giving me ample time for pictures. He also provided snacks at the beginning of the tour! This was probably my favorite tour guide in all of my Cusco tours, he was funny and nice and I will absolutely use him again on my next trip to Cusco. 5 stars all of the way, I HIGHLY recommend him!

Jeg havde en virkelig god tur og vi oplevede så mange spændende ting på vores ridetur. Da min hest ikke ville lystre fandt de mig en ny, der var enormt sød og lydig. Gabriel var venlig og hjælpsom, men særligt vores guide Grimaldo var meget nærværende og havde utrolig viden om stederne. De andre deltagere på turen var også enormt søde og snaksaglige, hvilken kun gjorde turen bedre! Vi blev tilbudt snacks i en pose, som vi gik med i hånden. Men desværre blev vi nødt til at efterlade dem, da vi skulle kravle ned i en grotte. Så det kunne have været rart, hvis de kunne have blevet med hestene. Slutningen på turen var lidt kaotisk, da der var tvivl om, hvem skulle videre og hvem, der skulle hjem.
