We loved this food tour we did with our guide Fabrizio in Cusco! Not only did we sample so many delicious traditional Peruvian dishes, we also learned so much about the areas rich history, traditions and culture. The guided walk through the huge market after the restaurant tastings was so fascinating!
We definitely would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Cusco and please request Fabrizio as your guide!

This tour was a great way to get introduced to the local foods in Cusco, Peru! Fabrizio was a wonderful guide! Really enjoyed his company and knowledge!
We loved our tour with Fabrizio! He took us to places we would never find as tourists. Small family restaurants, markets and amazing street vendors. We tried so many delicious Peruvian foods and learned a lot about the country and its culture. Would highly recommend!!
Fabrizio was our guide and made the experience extra special. We saw parts of Cusco we won't have otherwise and ate a delicious and diverse sampling of Peruvian food. He shared some new knowledge and made the tour very fun! A real exclamation point to our trip. Highly recommend!!

Delicious food tour with Fabrizio. He took us to a local restaurant for an authentic experience, purchased street food for us to try, brought us to a local dessert shop and walked us through the market, explaining all the different sections. The food in town was great and eating fresh fruit, cut open in front of you was amazing. Highly recommend this tour for people who want to see some of the city but also enjoys a food experience.
I really enjoyed this experience. My guide Harry took me not just on a food tour but a brief talks about historical sites around the city and some of the cultural aspects of Peruvian food. I choose to do this the day I arrived to get a lay of the land with a local since I was solo. The walking was not too strenuous and mostly flat with a few hills. My guide even connected with me on WhatsApp after to give me recommendations and to answer any questions I had while I was here.

My husband and I had a great food tour with Angelo. I would recommend doing this tour at the beginning of your stay as it was a very good introduction to Cusco.
He was a really nice, friendly guy, full of energy and very charismatic and his tour was definitely one of our highlights of Peru.
We started in San Pedro Mercado, tasting different juices and chocolates. We then moved on to other cafes, where the locals go, and sampled various different foods that we would never have discovered on our own. He also told us a lot about the history and culture of Cusco. I asked a lot of questions about life in Peru and he answered them all very patiently.
His English was excellent and he was very easy to understand. We would have liked to have done another tour with him but sadly my husband was poorly, and then we ran out of time. Angelo also recommended two restaurants: Morena Peruvian Kitchen and Cicciolina, both of which were excellent.
Angelo made the tour really fun and I would highly recommend him as a guide and we would definitely use him again.
This is a fantastic food experience. We did it on our first full day so that we could get used to the elevation and learn about the city. Angelo was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Great price, great food, great experience.
The Cusco walking food tour was a fantastic way to explore the city and its local flavors. It had a great balance of walking and food, allowing us to experience the sights while enjoying some truly delicious dishes. The empanadas, picarones, and wood-fired chicken with chips were definite highlights—so fresh and full of flavor! This tour offers an authentic taste of Cusco and is a must for food lovers looking for something uniquely local.
Our guide Angelo is well spoken and interesting. I will give him credit that he's very knowledgeable about the culture and he did interact. There were 5 of us in this tour. 1st Stop: Each of us had Jugueria (juice)-mixed with tomato(sacha tomate) /pineapple /orange juice. 2nd Stop: We sampled 2 kinds of passion fruits-one is sweet and the other one kinda sour. Good try! We had to share using 1 spoon. 3rd Stop: free chocolate samples from the market vendor that they sampled before you buy (those little round choco). 4th Stop: While walking to go to Copacabana for the empanada-he bought a toasted FABA beans on the street. He each handed us 1 bean for us to try-Dang! It was very hard! 5th stop: The Aunthentic Empanada- we all (my family) loves this-delicious!!! The dough was made of mixed sweet potato & pumpkin. I bought my own drinks. Suggestions: He should keep this for the food tasting all the time. 6th Stop: we had chicken& french fries at Los Toldos- It was okay, nothing special about the chicken. He ordered a pitcher of Peruvian red corn drink (but he told us to pay for it when we checked out. 7th/Last Stop: We had Tamales Josefina-desde 1924, he bought 3-he said to split 1 tamales to another person and he had to split one to me (interesting). So overall, didn't spend 3 hours, not 10 food tastings and drink(s). So I will say NOT worth the money we paid for.

We had a nice time with Fabrizio! We walked around Cusco and he explained a lot about their history, and he took us to some very local places, that we probably wouldn't have found on our own, and are glad he showed them to us! He tailored the food to our needs, as we don't drink alcohol. We were full pretty quickly after our first two pork dishes, so after we tried a few desserts, and ended at a chocolate shop. We spent more time together after and got coffee after :) it was a great way to explore Cusco with a local. I would recommend this tour!

Angelo was fantastic. So genuine and proud of his culture. We relied on him to chose our tastings and he did not disappoint. Food was absolutely amazing and because of the crowds/festival he gave us more time to enjoy the local food and learn more about Peru. Angelo was so friendly and personable. He went above and beyond for us. We all said we’d can’t wait to return.
Angelo was our guide. He arrived on time. Angelo showed us the best places to eat in Cusco. Great personality and lots of great stories about local food. Highly recommend.
The guide Anglo was very friendly and charismatic. He was a wonderful story teller and explained everything well. We didn’t taste 10 things. Maybe 8ish foods. Tour was about 2 hours long.
The guide was awesome. Harry was super knowledgeable and was able to have a very interesting conversation with us, answering all our questions and giving us tons of info. We felt it was very expensive for the amount of food we received. It says 10 tastings. We counted 6 and given that 3 were in the local market it was doubtful that those items cost more than about $10 USD. we paid $156 USD for the tour. We always take a food tour when we travel and enjoy meeting the locals and trying the different items. The tour and conversation were excellent but the food portion really fell short.
I didn’t get a chance to experience this tour because my tour guide was a no show for the tour. He did reach out to me once he saw my message on the app, and explained that the reason he was a no was he marked this tour on his calendar for December 12, 2023 instead of December 11, 2023. He did offer to do the tour ar another date and time, but as I explained to him this was the only date and time I had available because I have other activities planned for the week. I asked for a refund and he said he would cancel my tour, which he did, and talk to the office about getting my money back.
This tour was part of my 50th birthday trip activities.
Mix up happens, that’ life, but my recommendation would be to cross check the dates with the customer at least 24 to 48 hours in advance to verify date and time of tour activities.

My tour guys was nice. Called me one day in advance to inquire about diet restrictions. However I would say the food tour is NOT worth the money. It costs almost as much as the sacred valley tour (which includes lunch) and you literally only go to like 3 places. I don’t believe we even tried a total of 10 items. I WOULD NOT to do this tour again and I DO NOT recommend it. Spend your money on other tours.

We had a great afternoon with Fabrizio. He showed us to some great places to eat and catered the foods around what we were interested in trying. He even went above and beyond helping us get SIM cards for our phones! I can't recommend this tour enough.
The food was excellent. Our tour guide Angelo was very knowledgeable and had a fun sense of humor. We were amazed to see the 12 point stone, an architectural marvel. Angelo was gracious by accommodating our late flight arrival. He walked to our hotel to pick us up and also made sure we got back to our hotel safely.
This was a great way to spend an evening in Cusco! Harry took me to many great places in the city to try different bites and I was also able to learn a little history. I am a bit of a picky eater but he was very kind to cater all the stops to my taste. I would highly recommend this tour while in Cusco!
