Very well organised - great experience with very clear instructions and safety measures- great fun for everyone

Our raft guide was clearly very highly experienced/skilled and there was also a support canoe - pretty impressive safety cover given there were only three of us! Bear in mind that peak season for tourism is the dry season - so it’s not crazy adrenaline rapids (class 3 max) - but that means this is suitable for any age/experience and our guide knew how to make sure we still had LOTS of fun. All of this based from a beautiful little lodge, and the sauna at the end is a fab little touch - basic, but just what you need post rafting.
The “zip line” is a bit basic - think of it as an add-on to a rafting-based day - but it was good fun (2 runs - over the river and back).
And I think they’ve responded well to some of the previous comments - eg
- you now clip on to a safety wire as you climb the ladder up.
- we all got Email and WhatsApp links to the GoPro videos, which were awesome (and very well priced).

We were nervous before meeting our guides, but Bamba Travel were good at responding to our questions via WhatsApp.
On meeting our guides, Juan Carlos and Davide, they put us at ease and explained in clear English how the day would work. In short it was brilliant!! We rafted from Cusipata, a 2hr scenic trip south of Cusco. Safety talks were clear and gave us confidence in the guides’ abilities.
The zip line was great but it quickly became a memory once we were concentrating on the rafting. I believe we went to one of the best areas for a one day trip. The water was safe but still a challenge!! There were only three of us on the tour but the guides’ skill allowed us to have a fabulous, fun and exhilarating rafting experience…. Thank you!!!

Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow! My family of 9 (ages 9 to 69 years) took this tour with Juan Carlos and we had a FABULOUS time. He picked us up at our hotel in Cusco, and provided an overview of the day. After driving to the camp, we met with the other guide and were outfitted with all the equipment needed. We went to the river and received solid instruction about how to paddle, when and how to move into and around the raft, and what to do if someone fell out. Juan Carlos had a third person with us who paddled a kayak nearby in case someone fell out (and our 10 year old did! But he knew exactly what to do because of the excellent instructions. We did not worry at all- it is now a highlight of the trip). These are Level 3 white water rapids- we had only done levels 1 and 2 in the past but our limited experience was no problem at all due to the excellent coaching and guiding. I think for the kids, this tour was the highlight of our trip to Peru. After rafting, we sat in the sauna to warm up and dry off. Then we had a lovely lunch- chicken, potatoes, salad, corn drink, tea- delicious. Then we went ziplining- some of us had never ziplined before but Juan Carlos and his team were excellent and patient instructors. I strongly recommend this tour and am so happy Juan Carlos was our guide- he was terrific. I do suggest wearing a swimsuit under your clothing and putting your clothes in the lockers at the camp. A swimsuit under the rafting clothing is all you need. We brought towels too but did not need them because the sauna dried us off. It was an absolutely wonderful, unforgettable day.

I signed up for this event way in advance and the morning of was packed and ready to go. I waited and ended up having to contact the company. I was informed that the event had been cancelled but no one bothered to tell me. I asked for a refund but still haven't received one. I will need to call again to get my money back. Totally wasted my time with this. Terrible communication.

12/10 would recommend! As a solo female traveler I felt very safe and the tour guides made a great effort to make everyone feel included. You’re on the water for about 2 hours and the guides do a great job of getting everyone in the photos and videos so you have great memories to take away. There is a sauna at the end, so would recommend everyone to bring a second pair of clothes or shorts instead of long pants so you can change after being all soaked and enjoy the sauna. Food was great as well

We had a great time white water rafting with David! He was a very patient instructor and great guide for our 7 mile rafting experience. We learned some great techniques, and he led our celebrations each time we conquered a challenging rapid.
It was wonderful that they provided wet suits, jacket, and water shoes. The sauna and lunch afterward was a great wrap up to the rafting experience.
The zipline wasn't as well set up. But, what a deal just with the rafting and lunch. A great way to experience another part of Peru!

Great rapids and guides. The Zipline ladder needs safety grades like a cage and hand rails located several inches away from platform structure cross beam. Stairs to platform would much better

Be sure to wear a bathing suit under your wet suit. Bring your own towels. Showers were warm/great pressure. Sauna was Smokey hurt my eyes/lungs for a minute. Food was great lomos saltados/Quinea soup/hot water/tea/coffee/juice. The ladder to zip line was scary for me but I overcame it & had a blast zip lining. Was definitely a workout paddling.

The rafting was great! There were some challenges, but Anderson did a fantastic job of coaching us through it and providing a lot of useful insight and entertainment!

I have been on many rafting trips around the world and wasn't too excited about going on this one but we had a day to kill.
I was very surprised. The trip was amazing. We had a great guide who made us feel safe, pretty well continuous rapids. Some cliff diving and an amazing lunch. It far exceeded my expectations.

Excellent staff - polite and knowledgeable.
Beautiful scenery, we had a great experience.
Thank you for a wonderful day.

We had a good time on the rafting trip. We didn’t get the bread that was advertised above. I do wish they stated that you needed to bring a towel and swim suit. The tour guides were great and very knowledgeable. I was worried about the water and getting sick but all good. We couldn’t do the zip line because it was raining so don’t plan on it if you go to Cusco in rainy season.

Tour guides were super friendly, and you feel safe rafting with them, especially for first-timers! Dropped a star for a couple of things. Felt that it could have been a bit more organized. Didn't like the fact that after we were finished rafting we had nowhere to change into dry clothes, so either go behind a bush or change in the van. Definitely recommend bringing a pair of flip-flops or sandals, bathing suit, a big towel to dry off, and an extra bottle of water wish they stated all this in their info section!. We never made a stop for homemade bread as described above, but we did get a really nice lunch though after the rafting. The zip-line was a super simple added bonus so don't have high expectations. All in all, was a good time :

This was my favorite tour I did while staying in Cusco. The instructors make you feel very comfortable even if you have not rafted before. The zip line is smaller than I thought but still fun. I recommend you bringing flip flops to use after you get out of the water and bring a change of clothes.

We had a great time on the rafting trip, but it was quite cold and it started to rain. Since it started to rain, we couldn't do the zip lining but when we got off the raft, we had a team whipping up a delicious lunch for us and some nice hot tea. The crew was very hospitable and kind. Too bad we couldn't do the zip lining!

This was a great trip. Our tour guide was very good in teaching us how to navigate the river rapids and how to use paddles. For many of us it was the first time white water rafting. The lunch provided was good as well.

Guides for this trip were amazing. Highly recommend if you're in Cusco.

Viator staff did a truly wonderful job of arranging this tour including vegetarian lunch. Everything was on time and this tour itself is quite demanding and recommended for people of younger ages..

Go for the rafting. The zipline was just a short added bonus

Wow!!! great trip, this is a must if you like excitement

The rafting and ziplinning were brilliant and well run, food was okay. Only critisicm is that they took loads of photos but we never got to see them

Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Guide was so much fun while being safe. I had an awesome test.

Had a great time rafting and zip lining. The lunch was very good too! The guides were fun and made you feel very safe the entire time. Great for beginners. This was my first time rafting and I loved it.

This tour was Amazing! The tour guides were very friendly and fun and gave us the best experience we could ask for. Rafting down the river was exciting, they provided a good meal afterwards and a fun zipline adventure after that. Victor was fantastic and guided us through the tour! I'd do it again!
