Old Town Rethymno Came to Life with Nicolas

Old Town Rethymno was very quaint with lots of history. Nicolas was a great communicator from the beginning making sure that we were prepared to have a successful tour that accommodated our unique requests. He shared fascinating insights and personal stories on the history and culture for each site that truly made old town come to life. He was attentive to our needs and made sure everyone was comfortable along the way, answering all of our questions. Nicolas has a true passion for sharing the history and culture allowing us to see all the highlights without feeling rushed. We saw and learned things that we never would have encountered if it wasn't for this tour! This was truly a memorable experience that we would highly recommend if you get a chance to tour with Nicolas.

Highlight of Our Trip to Crete!

The Rethymno Old Town walking tour was truly the highlight of our visit to Crete. Our group of 14 participated, and every single one of us thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We were guided by Nicholas, a local of the town, whose passion and knowledge really brought the streets of Rethymno to life. He did a fantastic job working with our group: engaging everyone, balancing stories and Q&A sessions with just the right amount of historical detail. It was informative without ever feeling overwhelming. Nicholas didn’t just show us the beautiful sights - he shared the stories behind them, giving us a deeper understanding of the town’s rich history and culture. He answered all our questions with insight and even took us to some hidden gems that we might never have found on our own. A special moment was when we had the chance to hear traditional Cretan music, which was an unexpected and memorable treat that added to the authenticity of the tour.
