Upon arrival to the Palace of Knossos, skip the long line for the tickets and enter the Archeological Site of Knossos ! Just round the corner after the ticket booth of Knossos you will see the Coffee shop our staff will be holding a sign of "WeGuide.gr - Meeting Point" ( NOT at the Guides booth )

- Arrival Time: Please arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled tour. Tours start promptly, with no exceptions for late arrivals.
- Please check your location before booking! Knossos Palace is just 5 km (20 min) from Heraklion port/airport — very convenient. It’s not convenient from Chania (Souda port or CHQ airport) — it's 140 km away (2.5 hrs by car). We are based in Heraklion

Our guide, Akrivi, was excellent. She was knowledgeable and enthusiastic helping the 90-min tour fly by. The tour staff were friendly and helpful, meeting us at the gate and quickly helping us get prepared for our tour. The price was a little steep for my tastes but it was money well spent as it brought a deeper experience to the ancient site.

Our tour guide was great - very enthusiastic and interesting. The use of the headsets allowed us to listen and learn while looking around. The tour guide did a good job relating myths and Minoan life to modern times.

Gianni’s was attentive and gracious throughout our planning, met us ant the port, and even reserved the taxis for us! His staff were kind and supportive especially with one elderly group member. And the tour guide, Akrivi (sp?!), was amazing! So much o formation and expertise on a subject she obviously loved. Her enthusiasm was infectious and everyone enjoyed learning from her immensely! So grateful we chose this tour.

The tour was amazing! It was just two of us and the guide and we learned so much about the ruins. Our guide was so nice and knowledgeable! It started raining during the tour and they brought us Panchos so we wouldn’t get wet! We definitely recommend it.

Although the Information and guide was good this tour is very expensive for 1 hr 30 minutes. It could have at least included the price of the entry fee. We took an all day 8 hr tour and food included for almost same price!

We enjoyed the small group setting and as a result were able to be more flexible as the crowds ebbed and flowed throughout the site. Our guide, Arkivi, was very knowledgeable and provided expert commentary throughout the day. A very enjoyable tour!

Georgios was a great tour guide. We were stressed about getting the ticket part sorted and figuring out where to meet the tour. But the tour company was very helpful with all of it. We ended up on a tour of our own and enjoyed it so much more than we would have without a guide. Great day!

We cannot recommend this tour enough. My brother and I were truly blown away by the Knossos Palace. Our guide was very skilled in weaving together history, amended history, and myth.
She was funny, gracious about picture-taking, and good at maneuvering us through the labyrinth (pun-intended) that is Knossos. It was easy to pick up on her passion for the site.

Our guide Joanna, enriched our visit to Knossos Palace in so many ways. She is passionate about the history of this place and certainly has a talent for storytelling. Her descriptions were very immersive and vivid, helping to understand what a visitor would experience entering the palace many thousand years ago. She is good at putting myths and scientific facts apart and presenting a realistic story of this site. We can certainly recommend it.

Great tour. Unexpectedly interesting! Our guide was so passionate for the history and the place that we were excited to listen and discover the ruins with her, she took the time to give us both the historical background and the explanations about what we were visiting. The early schedule ( 9 am) makes the visit pleasant in summer, before the temperature is too high and when the site is less crowded. We highly recommend this tour.

amazing place and our guide Maria was fantastic ! we opted not to do an extended tour so if you have a car there is a sizeable parking area and its an easy drive from Heraklion or we were told a very affordable taxi ride

We toured Knossos with Akrivi and learned so much----It's such an interesting place, but without having a guide like Akrivi, it'd be hard to understand the significance of the history. We definitely recommend both the tour and Akrivi!
