Amazing Day Trip!!

Our family booked the 6-hour sailing trip to Dia Island, and it was one of the highlights of our time in Crete. The catamaran was beautiful, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax, which made the day feel effortless from start to finish. The sail to Dia felt surprisingly short, and once we arrived, the crew immediately began preparing lunch. While they cooked, our kids had a fantastic time using the SUPs, and we appreciated having a private cabin area where we could change or simply relax. Lunch was phenomenal—far beyond what we expected from a boat excursion. Everything was fresh and delicious, and the fruit was absolutely divine. During lunch, our captain shared some of the history of Dia Island, which added a special touch to the experience. What stood out most was that we never felt rushed. The entire day was relaxed, enjoyable, and perfectly paced. There were several other boats anchored in the bay, but that’s unavoidable at such a beautiful destination. Even so, it never felt crowded, and we still had plenty of space to enjoy the incredible scenery. The water around Dia was the most stunning shade of blue I’ve ever seen. It truly felt like paradise. If I could give this tour 10 out of 5 stars, I would. Thank you to the captain and crew for such an unforgettable day. We would absolutely do this again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Crete.
