What To Expect

Begin your evening with pickup from your Heraklion hotel and a short transfer to the dinner venue in time for a 7pm start.

The fun starts as soon as you arrive, so prepare to be entertained by an array of Cretan folklore performances. Enjoy live music played on traditional instruments such as the lyre and lute, admire the colorful costumes worn by the performers, and clap along with the rhythmic dances. In-between a delicious dinner of Cretan cuisine and local wine, perhaps make your way to the dance floor to try out a few steps for yourself.

At the end of the evening, your driver will be waiting to take you back to your hotel.

A lttle dissapointed in arrangements...

A lttle dissapointed in arrangements no fault of tour guide and bus driver, but arrived at venue more than an hour later than scheduled. Arrived at 8.00pm and were told the buffet dinner ends at 9.00pm. We were told we would have our photo taken with 2 entertainers in traditional dress, offered a liquor and enter the venue through a tradtional Cretan village home, we also had oportunity to enter a wine cellar this was all quite tiring after the bus trip when all i needed was the bathroom. The line to the buffet was quite long meals on offer was OK i didnt have any of the bread as the person in front of me pick up a slice of bread with his hand felt that it was dry and put it back into the large wicker bowl. The music, dancing and signing was not unlike Greek could not distinguish the diffrrence to authentic Cretan music except for the lyre musical instrument. The night finished at about 10.00 then had a long drive back to Heraklikn. Found this event very Over priced for what was on offer.

Do have in mind that this is a shared tour thus we spent 1hr at least to collect all customers from specific points before and drop them off at the end of the tour. All that you mention during the tour were part of it and sure enough no-one has forced you not to join the WC and been a part of all the demo we offer. Regarding the buffet since it is a big show sure enough the line was big and case you needed more bread one of our staff easily could help you get some more. Last but not least music played was a mix of Cretan & Greek traditional one. We hope to have the opportunity of welcoming you back for another tour. Best Regards
