What an amazing experience! Marianna was a wonderful teacher and her mother Stella was lots of fun. Food prep and the meal after was fun and informative. Since it was late in the season, we had a small group of only us and another couple. We had lots of fun with them.

This was such a wonderful experience! It was the most beautiful kitchen I’ve ever taken a cooking class in, which made the whole evening feel extra special. The host was warm, kind, and welcoming, and created such a comfortable atmosphere. The food we made was absolutely delicious—fun to prepare and even better to enjoy. Highly recommend!

We loved our time at Marianna's. Booking was easy and communication was fast over both Viator and WhatsApp. The location is rural and beautiful though Marianna has built a beautiful open modern and clean space that blends nicely into the landscape. She and her mom welcomed us with farm fresh drinks and an overview of what to expect. The class was organized and well thought out so we were able to do a lot of cooking but the pace was relaxed. So much fun! It was a night of good food and good company with lots of food to take home. We were really impressed with Marianna's warmth and kindness. She's created really a unique experience for the traveler to Crete. Kudos to Marianna!

If ever you wanted to try traditional to cook Cretian dishes this is the place to go. Marianna and her mother Stella are phenomenal. We also got to meet some of the other members of the family. Grandma was so sweet. As for the dishes that Mariana and her mother taught us to prepare consisted of four courses the first course was a lamb with tomato base, fennel, and potatoes. We also prepared a dish that consisted of bread, cheese, grated tomato and oregano. This in itself was filling. In addition to the main and the appetizer we also prepared stuffed grape leaves and stuffed pumpkin flowers, which were aromatic and and very tasty. For the dessert we prepared a pastry stuffed with a sweet cheese and cinnamon so delicious. I can't say how much my wife and I enjoyed this experience. Thank you Mariana and family for such a wonderful evening and the sun sets on your farm are beautiful. I highly recommend this if you ever visit the island of Crete.

Great experience!! The hosts, a mother and daughter team, made us feel like family from the time we arrived. The recipes were simple enough, but fresh, delicious, and full of flavor, with multiple ingredients fresh picked from their garden! If we come back to Crete, we would definitely do another class. I highly recommend!!

Cooking with Marianna and her mother, Stella, was a delight! Every Cretan dish we made was absolutely delicious. Their hands-on, step-by-step instructions made the class a pleasure to follow. We loved their information about the local farm, crops, cheeses, and cuisine. It was so much fun to pick the artichokes and learn how to prepare them for our dishes. The outdoor cooking and dining area alongside olive trees and gardens is beautiful! A fabulous and fun time!

Best experience!! We had a group of 8- ages between 12 and 78. Everyone loved the cooking class. We made so much delicious food. Marianna and Stella were amazing teachers and when it was time for class to be over we were sad to leave their company.

Thoroughly enjoyed cooking with and learning from Marianna & Stella. Their passion for food and their culture were evident during our time with them. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived on their farm and were offered delicious homemade lemonade and cinnamon refreshments until we left with food and hugs! The cooking experience was completely authentic and highly organized. We prepared a multi course meal under the kind guidance of mother and daughter. For sure a highlight of our stay.

This was definitely one of the best things we did on our vacation! This cooking class is a must do in Crete! Marianna and her mom, Stella, were so incredibly sweet and welcoming! You truly feel like you're cooking with family! Everything we cooked with was fresh from their farm and tasted absolutely amazing! The farm is beautiful and the cooking space was absolutely perfect. The food was so delicious, I wish I could eat it all again tomorrow! They have captured the magic of food and its ability to bring people from all over the world together. Can't say enough good things about this amazing adventure and these wonderful people.

Marianna and Stella were wonderful hosts and teachers. We learned a lot about traditional Greek dishes and how to prepare them perfectly. The setting was beautiful on their olive farm. There was no lull in activity or downtime. It was perfect!

My family and I had a wonderful experience cooking at the farm. The hostess was so welcoming and sweet. They were very helpful with the meal and it came out so so delicious. Everything was so fresh and authentic. By the time we were eating, the sun was setting which made it beyond perfect. Truly a magical experience.

We had such a great time with Marianna and her mother! The farm and outdoor kitchen stunning and sets the perfect atmosphere. We learned not just how to cook some of our favourite (and new) Cretan dishes but also learned about Cretan history and culture. They are great and welcoming hosts that made us feel very at home and the meal we cooked together was delicious! There were so many leftovers that we took some back to share with our Cretan friend and he was very impressed!

Marianna and Stella were warm and welcoming teachers and shared their culture and traditions with us. We learned Cretan food ways and enjoyed a wonderful meal after. It was an outstanding experience and one we will never forget. I highly recommend this one.

This cooking class was absolutely incredible and we learned so much! The property is so serene to cook at and the recipes are so much fun to make. Both teachers are incredibly kind and helpful and also taught us a lot about Crete’s culture. At the end they did email us the recipes which we plan to make back home. If we come back to Crete we will take her class again as she said she changes the recipes through the year!

Mariana and Stella were incredible! If you are going to do just one activity in Crete, this is the one!! From start to finish it was welcoming, exciting and full of laughter!! It became clear very quickly that neither me or my partner had any cooking skills, but that did not matter! Mariana and Stella were so attentive and ready to share their wealth of knowledge in preparing ingredients. If I ever have the pleasure of returning to Crete I would do this all over again. Also the sunset and dogs were a big highlight!!!! Thanks for an incredible evening!!!!! FYI If you didn't know you can also book directly through their website!!!!!!! My friend and I had such a great time at this cooking class with Marianna and her mum at their beautiful farm. We were fortunate enough that it was just us two in the whole class so it made it even more hands on and intimate. We cooked some amazing food and made some incredible memories. If there is ONE thing you should do when visiting Crete --- this is it! There were 12 of us in a beautiful open-air building on a farm and we all had our own gas burners, utensils, and pots. We made lamb stew, learned how to make stuffed grape leaves, little sweet cheese pies, learned how to cut a potato(new way) to make french fries and MORE. Marianna and Stella were wonderful. This is a 3 1/2 hour experience not to be missed. There were 5 men and 7 woman in our class. We sat down for our feast with red wine. This is well worth it!
