It was my first night in Cologne and figured, this will be a great way to start my trrip. Well, I wasn't wrong. We were quite a small group, 3 people in total, plus our guide Jenz. That just contributed the the atmosphere of the tour. It felt like being out with friends and enjoying the night. As it was quite crouded, Jenz offered to skip the main Christmas market and visit few smaller ones. Well, that was the right call. We saw Santas on motorbikes, live entertainment and tasted some delicious gluhwein. And the markets we visited were beutiful and each one a bit different from the previous one. Plus Jenz was great at sharing all kinds of historical and funny facts.

We loved tasting Kolsch beers and learning all about Cologne’s history! Marina was an absolute gem and a fantastic tour guide. She had great knowledge of the city and went out of her way to help us get a reservation at a popular restaurant the following night. We were able to go to the largest Christmasmarket, learn the history, and shop around. Kolsch is a great beer for people who don’t like beer or who do! A great time!

Berni our guide was fantastic! We had a wonderful afternoon at the Weinachtsmärkte! We also spent some time at a cople local places. Bernie gave us a few tipps where to eat local German Food and it went Great, vielen Dank Bernie!

Heike provided a great small group tour to a couple of brauereis as well as the Christmas markets. She explained customs and traditions, gave helpful hints, and was an absolute delight. The weather wasn’t the best but her positive spirit and adaptability made up for it.

Guide Chris was very good. Funny but knowledgeable. Enjoyed how it moved along quickly. My only complaint was that being a Kolsch Tour I felt like it should have included one free drink!

It was helpful having a guide, but all drinks are at your own expense. After visiting 1 pub and 3 Christmas Markets, plan on spending an additional $50 for drinks.
