The panda place was a tad boring... Not worth the going.
The qingchengshan requires a reasonable level of fitness. Many steps from entrance to the cable car point. Not suitable at all for people with mobility issues.

Our incredibly friendly and considerate tour guide, Huang Lin, picked us up from our hotel and took us to the Panda Base, which was a dream. Afterwards, she took us to a great local restaurant where we had delicious vegetarian food. Finally, we visited the mountain which was a great activity. What a blast.

Nice private tour with guide Shi Jianhua. As expected, he does not speak English but we were able to communicate with a translation app. He was helpful and kind, ready with an umbrella during the rain. He even helped me to get a vegetarian noodle dish for lunch! This reserve has a lot of pandas and they are quite active in the morning. The Qingcheng Mountain is also quite interesting. There is a paved path the whole way, with pavilions, temples, and shops every so often. It's not exactly like hiking, more like a pilgrimage, but very scenic and fascinating. There are some steep stairs to climb, so those going on this tour should be aware.

We are grateful to have Mr 李超 be our tour guide and driver for a day-tour to Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding and Mount Qingcheng. Mr Li is very helpful and friendly. He also recommended a great local place for lunch - the food is delicious, and the place is very clean.
If you are a hiking lover - highly recommend spending more time at Mount Qingcheng.

Great trip to see Pandas and Qingcheng mountain with panda Chicago. My tour guide, Huang Lin did a great job. I recommend visitors to Qingcheng mountain to use the cable car as otherwise there is a lot of steep stairs to climb.

We got picked up from our hotel from Mr. Wang. He was very friendly and told us the history of Chengdu as we drove to the panda base. This location wasn’t too crowded and the pandas are too cute. Definitely recommend the pandas. The mountain was pretty but it’s a lot of climbing and it was hot.

Despite the language barrier, the driver was friendly and our journey from Chengdu to Dujiangyan went smoothly. Upon arrival, the weather was pleasant, and the driver helped us buy tickets and waited for us in the car park. We made a change to our itinerary, swapping Qincheng Mountain for the Dujiangyan Irrigation System, which the company accommodated. The driver then took us to the scenic area and assisted us in purchasing tickets once more. Overall, we had a wonderful experience with the tour.
