Itinerary

Make your way to the Qingyang Gong (Green Goat Palace), located at No 9, the Second West Section, 1st ring road, Qingyang District, at 8am. Alternatively, upgrade your experience to include convenient pickup and drop-off at your Chengdu hotel. 

Tour the property while learning about Chinese Taoism, which monks practice in the monastery. The religion dates back to the 7th century AD and has helped shape Chinese culture throughout the years. 

After a thorough look around the monastery, embark on a walk along the Funan River, past the Sichuan Museum, and into Huanhuaxi Park. Then, you'll stop at an elegant tea house in the People's Park, where you'll sit down for a 1-hour kung-fu tea ceremony. Your guide will fill you in on the heritage of the traditional tea service and Chinese tea culture and etiquette. Your private tour ensures that you'll have plenty of time to ask questions of your dedicated guide. 

End your tour at 12pm outside the tea house, unless you've opted for the ride back to your accommodations.

Amazing Tour Guide. I appreciate my First Tour

The Tour Guide is amazing. I forgot her name. But she made my day in Chengdu as if I am in a dream. I appreciate her politness and knowledge and adaptability to my needs. This is what I will try to repeat but it will be not easy as this was also in Chengdu. The whole thing was amazing. The Tour guide was a match for me so we enjoyed every moment.

I had a fantastic morning out with Bruce. I would highly recommend this trip as a great way of seeing Chengdu. I definitely got more out of my visit from doing this tour. Bruce was very knowledgeable and we had a very chilled morning walking around the parks and sipping tea. We stopped off for noodles on the way to the Peoples Park which were very tasty and clearly a popular place with the locals. If your heading to Chengdu book this tour!!
