Chengdu is a sprawling city of 22M people so getting around can be challenging especially if you don’t speak the local dialect of Sichuanese. This dialect is different than the national language of Mandarin.
Our guide Bella was a breath of fresh air. We have travelled a lot and Bella is in the Elite Class of a tour guide. Not only is she a wealth of information, but stays right with you the entire tour. Bella speaks fluent English effortlessly. She has over 13 years experience as a Certified China Tour Guide. She brought us to incredible tourist sites and hires Premium Didi drivers who drive luxury cars . Bella even offered to carry our souvenirs we purchased on the tour. Our tour included lunch and was at a great restaurant with so much food it was like dinner. We highly recommend this tour company and hope you can book Bella.

We had a wonderful time with Bella. She was so accommodating to our family especially since we were traveling with my 82 year old dad and needed frequent breaks. She was so engaging, informative and answered all our questions, providing so much insights into the historical and modern day Chengdu. We also had the best Sichuan meal of your trip when she took us to a local restaurant which we’d never experience without her. We highly recommend this tour and will be sending others her way!

The guided tour was a very good choice, it allowed me to get a good idea about the city. Wu, the guide, was excellent. He shared a great deal of stories about the city and its history, he was knowledgeable, friendly and patient to allow me enough time to see the old streets, the buildings, shops, temples and parks. I have already told my friends all about it. If you want a nice way to see the most interesting parts of Chengdu, this tour would save you time and the hassle to choose where to go, in what order and how to get there.

This is my favourite tour guide so far on my trip. Emily is a fabulous guide, fun, kind, full of knowledge about the city, its history and interesting to talk to about life in the city. It was great to see local parks, old annd new streets, the amazing Buddhist temple and I particularly liked matchmakers corner! We had a delicious lunch and getting to have a look through a few shops with the help of someone who knows how everything works is invaluable. I would definitely recommend this tour it’s a great way to learn about the city and wider area.

We had a wonderful time on our tour with our guide Emily. The tour started with the Wuhu temple and Jianli ancient street. We then visited Wenshu monastry.
Post lunch we visited the wide and narrow alleys and people's park.
A wonderful introduction to this beautiful city of parks.
Emily helped us in shopping for Sichuan jasmine green tea and a few soveneirs.
She also told us how to visit the Jianli ancient street in the late evening on our own which we did.
Overall a wonderful experience. Highly remommend this tour as an introduction to Chengdu with our knowledgable and helpful guide, Emily.

My girlfriend and I had such a wonderful day on the private tour around Chengdu with your lovely guide Emily. We would highly recommend this tour and Emily as your guide as it was a nice peaceful tour with a nice slow pace with time to talk and debate cultural differences and learn the history of each other. Emily have great English skills and a lovely personality with an interest in our culture as well.
Dispite a long dag on the tour, she took the time to help us find a phone repair service, which she called to our hostel and stayed during the repairmen to make sure that we understood what was going on and that we had a great experience.
We are going to the opera in a few days, where Emily is going to be our guide which we are looking forward to! - Emily, thanks for a wonderful day

This tour was sooo great! Wu the tour guide is the best, he took me everywhere and was asking me if i was okay as i was super tired from previous tourist days and took my consideration when taking me around Chengdu. I had a great time and the conversation and knowledge from Wu were an added value to the tour. 100 recommended!

This was an amazing tour. I had some very specific items to shop to on Chengdu. Wu, my guide made special effort to help me find silk store. He also took me for traditional tea. This is a must to visit the different old shopping streets. Your trip to Chengdu would not be complete without it.

The early part of our tour was good and our lunch was great! Jinli Street and Kuanzhai Alley were really just shopping stalls/shops - not something we were really interested in. Overall, tour was okay although our guide Wu was good.
