One of the highlights of my trip to Cartagena was this delicious dinner in a private home. If I could give more stars I would! Not only did I enjoy dinner, I was also treated to recommendations of other local places to go to on my trip. This is something I will do again the next time I am in Cartegena and will tell all my friends and family to do as well.

Andres was an excellent host, welcoming us into the city and into his home. It was a very intimate experience learning about his story, the story of the foods of colombia, and getting to taste so many delicious creations. He also gave great reccomendations of other places to visit while in Colombia and continued to be responsive days after our experience. Rock on Anakin!

This was my first time with such an experience and one I am eager to repeat. Every dish was crafted with care, absolutely delicious, and I appreciate the chef sharing knowledge about the dishes and their preparation. I expected a good meal, but wasn't prepared for how exquisite the preparation can be when the chef is focused on only preparing a dish for one person versus servicing an entire restaurant. The ropa vieja in particular was a revelation. It was an order of magnitude more delicious than any I have had before. I highly recommend this experience!
