Aviario is nice, but need to check if the trip features of Playa Blanca are ok for you!

The visit to the Aviario is good. The place is nice, with several multiple species. The guide (Vanessa) was very helpful to provide good information about the place and animals. If you have kids it can be a good option. It takes about 2 hours, including a quick show/presentation at the end of the visit. The second part is the lunch and stay at the Playa Blanca. This beach is absolutely crowded, as you can see from the first minute you try to park (thousands of cars in a really crazy traffic...). We do not stay in the most crowded part of this beach (they get you with a boat, or even walking, to a predefined beach restaurant/bar less busy, but still at the same beach with several people trying to sell everything. There was no seat reserved/available when we arrived, but they manage to find a (not really nice) table for us to have lunch. Cleaness and confort is not really the strong feature here. The sea and the beach is really beautiful, but too crowded to really have a relaxed and enjoyable time. In the advertisement, they should also be more clear that the trip is made by car. This is not quite clear and someone can think the trip is made by boat, what would be better to avoid the absolutely crazy traffic (it took about 20-30min only to leave the parking lot on our way out).

Good afternoon Mr. Marcio, we are sorry for the inconveniences you had in the second part of the excursion, you are right, unfortunately in the period you went, Cartagena has the highest vacation season, (the first days on the new year), and it is very difficult to get to the beach, There is no option by boat to the aviary, however they were informed and given the alternative of removing the beach and replacing it with a walk in the historic old city, we give you the apologize Ang thankful
